Synopsis
The PJ Masks are chasing Octobella and Percival through the park. Gekko knocks them into the moat with a tail swipe. Although Octobella gets back at Gekko by launching him into a tree with her whirlpool before retreating, she is quite sour at yet another loss and blames Percival for the fact that the PJs always beat them. The argument quickly escalates into a fight between the two.
The following day, the PJs notice damage done to the shore of the moat, and decide to investigate. That night, in HQ, the PJ Picture Player reveals Percival was the one that caused the damage. They take the Cat-Car to the park, where Octobella is still fighting Percival. Octobella doesn't want the PJs to interfere, and Gekko has no intention to help Octobella with her problem. Owelette and Catboy however point out that fighting is never the answer. When Octobella summons her Octo-Legs to give herself an advantage, Owlette and Catboy order Gekko to keep Percival safe while they focus on stopping Octobella.
Gekko, however, has other plans. He takes Percival to HQ and shows him footage of how he was able to beat Octobella's Octo-Legs, even without his powers. Percival likes the idea and attacks the Octo-Legs with a branch, tripping Octobella just like how Gekko once did. Catboy and Owlette recognize the move, and are not happy with Gekko teaching Percival how to fight. With the Octo-legs disabled, Percival snatches a red crystal from Octobella's neck and disappears into the moat with it. Octobella follows him to try and get the crystal back, but is too late; with the crystal, along with the other crystals in Octobella's garden, Percival summons a set of giant, red tentacles, with which he knocks Octobella out of the moat and onto the bridge near HQ.
The tentacles reach out to the surface, forcing Catboy and Owlette to try and stop them from damaging the city while Gekko takes Octobella into the moat. He admits he shouldn't have helped Percival, and promises to fix this. He tries to reason with Percival to make him stand down, and convinces Octobella to apologize to him. Octobella reluctantly does so, and Percival calls back the tentacles. They return to the surface, where Percival gives Gekko the red crystal, and he and Octobella join the PJs for their victory cry.
