Apophis is an undead mummy who wishes for an eternal night. He is a villain in the Pyjamasques picture book series.

Physical appearance

Apophis can be seen in two different forms.

His first appearance is that of a mummy, about the size of a child. In this form he wears an Egyptian Headdress and is fully-covered in bandages from head to toe, leaving only his eyes visible. He is armed with a golden, cobra-shaped scepter.

He can also transform himself into a giant, cobra-like snake. In this form he is likewise covered in bandages.

Like Night Ninja, Apophis is shown to be quite arrogant.

Motive & abilities

Motive

His motive is for an eternal night that will lack light by finding the solar disc that is guarded by Bastet and destroy it entirely in order for a new day to never approach. His motive is similar to the Sablotin's plans for an eternal night.

Abilities

Apophis can use his snake sceptre to turn into a giant snake.
He can hypnotize people and puts them into a deep sleep.
He can use his snake sceptre to create magical bandages that can summon mummy horses for use on moving his chariot.
