This article is about a counterpart of a character/exclusive character that only exists in the Cartoon Continuity of Les Pyjamasques. |
For the character's mainstream counterpart, see Tatouro.
Armadylan (real name: Dylan), is one of the supporting characters, an anti-hero and anti-villain of the PJ Masks television series. He is Tatouro's counterpart from another universe set in a vigilante setting. He first appeared in the Season 2 episode "Meet Armadylan." ContentsHistoryIn his debut episode, when he first met the PJ Masks, he didn't know how to use his powers at the right time and he had initially used his powers against other nighttime villains for arbitrary reasons. The PJ Masks would criticize his heroic standards and flaws on fighting villains. However, Armadylan misunderstood their criticism and thought they didn't think he was a real superhero, and threatened to crush them. As a solution, the PJ Masks decided to use their own powers against him so that they can help him on learning how to use his powers properly when needed in order to become a real superhero. Official Website descriptionEarlyA villain that wants to be a hero! Armadylan wraps into a ball and thunders about the city trying to do all the cool hero stuff but doesn’t really see what it means to be a hero and ends up trying to outdo the PJs and wreck their plans, siding with the villains instead! LaterA big, strong kid, who thinks he’s one of the heroes! Armadylan's pyjamas turn into a bulky suit of armor, armadillo-style. He’s invulnerable, super-strong – and can roll himself into a ball and thunder about. With these amazing powers, he’s decided to be the best hero ever – but it doesn’t always work out that way! PersonalityArmadylan is shown to be quite clumsy due to him unintentionally using his powers which can lead to destruction and accidents towards himself and the PJ Masks. He is generally sympathetic and friendly but sometimes is also shown to be short-tempered and become angry whenever other people try to upset or hurt him at all means. At most times, he has done unintentional villainous acts due to his actions and gullibility. Motive & AbilitiesMotiveIn most of his appearances, due to his gullibility and/or inexperience on being a hero, Armadylan is shown doing villainous actions that can help the nighttime villains achieve their goals (mostly Night Ninja). His antagonistic acts vary from stealing the PJ Masks vehicles, building a HQ with Romeo by using the playground equipment or accusing the PJ Masks on stealing Flossy Flash comics.
