The following characters appeared in the episode "Armadylan, Action Hero":
The episode starts off at night with Armadylan and Night Ninja in town making a movie about Armadylan being an awesome action hero. After Armadylan messes up a couple of times, Night Ninja disappears to make his own movie. The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg arrive at the movie theater to watch the new Master Fang movie that just came out until they see a car blocking the entrance, plus the destruction throughout the city that was left behind since that night. Later that evening, the PJ Masks witness Armadylan lifting and dropping a bus.
The team heads off into the city and meets up with Armadylan. He explains that he is being a movie action hero just like Master Fang. As he attempts to wrestle a streetlight and causes more mess, Owlette suggests that they could help him out with his movie. That way, they could prevent him from causing any more damage. That being said, Owlette volunteers to film, Gekko can be Armadylan’s sidekick, and Catboy can play as the villain.
At the playground, Armadylan decides to start off his film by doing what is called the Spinny Star Surprise to escape the villain’s clutches. Gekko shows him how to focus and calmly perform it, but Armadylan immediately performs it, causing him to crash into the jungle gym. Next, he insists on going over the villain’s head with a Super Double Flip. This time, Catboy jumps in and attempts to teach him how to do it using Master Fang’s Fantastic Flip. However, Armadylan tries the move out and ends up crashing into the swing set. Owlette then suggests that the team can show him some cool moves, but he refuses, saying that he does not need any help.
The group then heads to the museum where Armadylan reveals his final scene: stopping a break-in. He enlists Catboy to try and steal something precious on display until he arrives to chase him around doing some hero moves along the way and catches him, saving the day. However, the PJ Masks don’t think it is a good idea because what they could do in there will result in serious damage. Instead, they suggest going to the park to practice his hero moves.
Meanwhile, Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos are at the rooftops of the city attempting to make their own action hero movie. He gets angry when one of the Ninjalinos accidentally drops the video camera until he hears the commotion at the museum. Getting an idea, he sends a couple of his Ninjalinos down to assist Armadylan with his movie after the PJ Masks refuse to help him with his final scene. Armadylan takes them in and leaves the PJ Masks out.
Armadylan and the Ninjalinos go inside the museum. From there, he asks one of them to run around while he chases him and eventually stops him. The Ninjalino complies, and he leads him on a chase. Armadylan attempts to catch him, but he keeps messing up in the process. After a few moments, Night Ninja comes out and sticky splats him. The PJ Masks then enter the museum from up top to stop Armadylan, but he sticky splats them as well. Night Ninja then reveals that if he couldn’t film an action hero movie, he decides to film a comedy movie instead. He has his Ninjalinos carry Armadylan up to the top of the stairs and push him down. Armadylan rolls around the place, knocking into various display objects.
As Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos prepare to do a second take, Catboy uses his Super Cat Ears to hear a struggling Armadylan attempting to break free of the splat trap. Hearing that he should have taken the team’s advice, the team advises him to do Master Fang’s Boomerang Spin to escape. To do that, he must stay calm and focus, start spinning slowly and gradually get faster. Armadylan does just that, and soon, he is freed. He makes a hard impact on the ground, and the force causes the sticky splats to wedge off the PJ Masks. Now freed, the team saves the various museum objects from falling down and breaking.
Night Ninja is not fazed by this, though, because he has all the footage that he needs to make his comedy movie and to show everyone around the world to laugh at Armadylan. In response, Armadylan asks the PJ Masks how to do Master Fang’s Fantastic Flip, to which they respond that he should be like a kangaroo jumping on a trampoline. Armadylan complies, and he successfully snatches the video camera from Night Ninja, causing him to fall down. The villain is defeated, and Armadylan obtains a happy ending for his action hero movie.
Back at HQ, the heroes watch Armadylan’s movie and are amazed at the results. Armadylan thanks the PJ Masks for their help and insists on watching the movie multiple times. The PJ Masks laugh, and the group shouts out the PJ Masks’ signature victory phrase, ending the episode.
