"Armadylan and Robette Rule" (also known as "Robette et Tatouro'Tom" in French) is the first segment of the 2nd Season 3 episode of PJ Masks. SummaryArmadylan and Romeo argue over whose sidekick is better: Robette or Robot. CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Armadylan and Robette Rule": SynopsisThe episode begins with Armadylan finding a malfunctioning Robette after falling off Romeo's Lab and hitting a streetlamp. She introduces herself and asks him to be her friend, which he accepts and hits her from behind to fix her. It also causes her to fire a laser, though this doesn’t faze him, and is touched when she confirms that she is his friend. The two roll off, but Armadylan doesn’t notice that she has a “Take Over the World” function. The next night, the PJ Masks head into town to confront Romeo about a damaged car they saw earlier in their neighborhood. It was actually Robette; Romeo is currently looking for her. She appears with Armadylan, the latter announcing that both of them are a new hero team-up. Robette, who is happy to hang out with him, is his new buddy and super awesome sidekick to help him save the day. Romeo argues that Robot is the better sidekick. In order to confirm who is the best sidekick, Romeo declares a best sidekick competition. The team doesn’t think it’s a good idea; Robette is villainous robot material and very unpredictable, especially with her lasers. They offer to be Armadylan’s buddies and help him save the day. Armadylan agrees, but also thinks Robette is awesome through her unpredictability, and is happy to have someone do what he says. The two accept to participate in the best sidekick challenge. Everyone relocates to the town square, where Catboy catches a cat after Robette fires another laser (Armadylan believes it to be her warming up). The first round is to see who’s stronger. Robot lifts four cars, although Robette interferes by zapping his foot. This causes him to throw up the vehicles, which she then catches with her laser. Armadylan declares this as a victory and commends her while Gekko catches the cars. Gekko informs Armadylan that a friend is not just someone who does what he says. He thinks it’s fun, and also ironic coming from the team when they tell him what to do sometimes, though it’s only because some of his actions don’t make sense. As Robette zaps Catboy, Armadylan declares robot wrestling to be the second round. Owlette and Gekko suggest practicing saving the day together, sharing tips, and demonstrating moves as non-dangerous options; Armadylan and Romeo refuse. A few moments later, a wrestling ring is set up with the PJ Masks as referees, who are trying to make sure that nothing is damaged. The wrestling match starts; Robette gains the upper hand as she avoids Robot’s clutches and zaps him. He eventually grabs her and throws her into a couple of trash cans, earning him the win. She begins glitching again, but convinces everyone that she’s alright. Armadylan expresses his happiness to have Robette as his buddy, especially since he believes that she’s just like him. He complains again about how the team is always telling him what to do when they plead with him to stop the competition, then assures them that Robette’s just being friendly when she zaps Gekko. Suddenly, Robette sneaks off and takes control of Robot and Romeo’s lab. The two sidekicks board the vehicle and attack. The five kids are forced to take cover behind the cars. Armadylan is angered to find out from Romeo that Robette has tricked him through her “Take Over the World” function. She tricks everyone into thinking she’s nice until they realize too late her true intention. Armadylan offers to help the team stop her. Gekko briefly stares at him in response, but confirms with him that although friends don’t always do what he says, they do help him out. That being said, the two heroes use a couple of cars to deflect the lasers toward Robette, Robot, and the lab. As Robot and the lab are slowly released from Robette’s control, Robette fires one more laser at Gekko. Armadylan protects him using his armadillo armor, which also leaves him unharmed. He then grabs her as she flies towards him, asking if he is her friend. He ignores the statement, and once Catboy ties a Super Cat Stripe to her and the lab, she crashes into the vehicle when he lets her go. The villains leave as she continues malfunctioning. Armadylan expresses his gratitude to have the PJ Masks as his friends, and not have any sidekicks. The team confirms no animosity towards him, especially Gekko, who shares a big, strong hug with him to affirm their friendship. The team proclaims their signature victory phrase as Armadylan leaves. The next day, Greg shows Connor and Amaya a picture sent by Armadylan depicting the two strong friends together. Moral/Lesson
