Synopsis

The episode begins with Connor packing up his usual things for school. He hears Amaya's voice coming from his walkie-talkie, and notices her and Greg both outside waiting for him so they can all walk to school together. He grabs his backpack and starts to run out of his bedroom, until he notices that he knocked his stuffed cat cuddly, Mr. Meow, off his bed. He picks it up and hugs it for a second, then places it back on his pillow.

As the three enter the school grounds, they notice that some of the kids from the other classes brought their cuddlies for "Bring Your Cuddly to School" day. Cameron jokingly tells them that they can bring their cuddlies to school as well if they get permission. Connor gets excited, until Cameron starts laughing at him for having a cuddly, so he stammers that it would be great for the younger kids, and that they’re too old for them.

Suddenly, Cameron's little sister cries out: her cuddly is replaced with a weird-looking one. As Cameron grabs it and throws it away from her, Connor, Amaya, and Greg take a closer look at it. It is a talking Romeo Doll, which means Romeo is behind the cuddly case. Once the PJ Masks arrive at HQ that night, they take off in the Owl-Glider, and spot Robot pushing a cart in town.

The team lands and runs behind a building to spy on Robot. The cart contains a box filled with the stolen cuddlies, and he is continuing to steal the rest of them. Catboy shouts out his concern out loud, knowing that his cuddly is in danger as well. Owlette and Gekko look at him, however, so he makes up an excuse by saying that his cuddly’s name is the name of the new teacher at school. He points out where they are located, and he takes off while the team isn’t looking.

Romeo pulls up behind Owlette and Gekko for a brief moment, commenting on how they lost their leader before he pulls off his latest plan. Meanwhile, Catboy reaches his house and runs into his bedroom. To his relief, he sees that his cuddly has not yet been taken away. He hugs it, though he doesn’t notice that Robot has arrived as well. He opens up Catboy’s bedroom window and briefly takes Mr. Meow away, but Catboy quickly grabs it, and a chase ensues. Soon, Robot's arms get tangled up in his room.

Catboy runs out of his house, and while hiding his cuddly behind his back, he returns to Owlette and Gekko, who are angry at him for running away. Suddenly, Catboy's cuddly squeaks, and his teammates look at him again, not noticing that Robot is walking by behind them, stealing the last of the cuddlies. Catboy points it out, unknowingly taking out his cuddly as he does so, but the two do not notice, as they just assume that he is tricking them again. They both believe him later when Robot announces he’s returning to Romeo, and the team takes off, but not before Catboy gives a quick hug to his cuddly while they aren’t looking.

Robot arrives at the museum with the stolen cuddlies, where Romeo introduces his Cuddly Transforming Machine. He activates it, and the cuddlies are sucked inside and transform into talking Romeo Dolls. Suddenly, Romeo gets sucked into the machine as well and gets transformed into a Romeo Doll. He lands in the box with the other cuddlies, but Robot eventually finds him, places the machine into reverse, and places him back into the machine. Romeo turns back to normal and declares that the situation never happened.

Meanwhile, the PJ Masks spy on the villains from the bushes, surprised of what is happening. Catboy takes a look at his cuddly, though it squeaks again. While he hides it behind his back again, he claims that they should stop Romeo and Robot by taking the two villains by surprise as they hide behind Romeo's Lab. Owlette and Gekko proceed with the plan, and Catboy joins them shortly after hugging and hiding his cuddly in the bushes.

The PJ Masks do not get far, though; the lab senses them, and the alarm sounds. Romeo and Robot look for anything suspicious, and soon, Robot spots the tail on Catboy's cuddly sticking out in the bushes. Catboy loudly whispers out, then shouts out in surprise when Robot takes his cuddly out, though it catches everyone’s attention. He starts saying that his cuddly’s name would be the name of the cuddly that Robot has in his hands if it was his, but when Robot throws his cuddly to Romeo, he actively tries to save it, but with no success. Romeo places his cuddly into the Cuddly Transforming Machine, and it is now transformed into a Romeo Doll.

Catboy desperately, but unsuccessfully, looks for his cuddly now placed with the other dolls in the box. Now with all of the cuddlies transformed into Romeo Dolls, Romeo can now hand them out to every kid in town. With a Romeo Doll to cuddle with, they will soon grow accustomed to loving him, and that will enable him to take over the world. Owlette and Gekko, after seeing the situation unfold, try to stop Romeo and Robot from leaving. Robot just grabs them and throws Owlette up a tree and traps Gekko in a garbage can.

Owlette and Gekko get out of their little predicaments and run over to Catboy, who is hugely embarrassed now that everyone knows he has a cuddly. The two then reveal that they also have cuddlies themselves: Gekko has a lizard cuddly named Lionel Jr., while Owlette has an owl cuddly named Lady Wigglesworth. The reason why that they did not say anything about them and acted strange throughout the day is that they did not want anyone to think that they were childish. Unfortunately, the PJ Masks’ fear costed them everyone’s cuddlies. Nevertheless, they now become determined to get them back, no matter how childish it may be to have a cuddly.

Romeo and Robot place all of the Romeo Dolls in every child's room around the town, including Cameron’s before he slowly wakes up and becomes confused at the sight of it. When Catboy jumps right in front of the villains, Romeo attempts to blackmail him by saying that he will tell everyone about how he has a cuddly. Catboy does not care, though, and neither do Owlette and Gekko, who then appear from different places. Owlette gets Robot tangled up in his arms, while Gekko deflects the remaining dolls Romeo is throwing, causing him to crash when he loses control. The PJ Masks push the cart back to the museum, and Romeo and Robot try to catch them, but to no avail.

Once the PJ Masks make it to the Cuddly Transforming Machine, Catboy puts the machine in reverse. All of the Romeo Dolls are sucked into the machine and transform back into everyone's own cuddlies. Owlette and Gekko grab their own cuddlies and hug them, and eventually, Catboy joins them as well when Romeo and Robot finally arrive and Romeo kicks the machine. The villain is angry that his plan is foiled, but he calms down when Robot gives him his teddy bear, Hugsy-Bear, and hugs it. He then accepts his defeat, and the two leave, but vows that this is not the last time the PJ Masks have seen him.

The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg are sitting down happily with their cuddlies in their possession. Cameron starts teasing them, but his sister comes in and gives him his stuffed mouse cuddly, Murray Mouse. He quickly denies that it’s his while he grabs it and shushes her, though Connor, Amaya, and Greg just smile. Connor welcomes Cameron to the "cuddly crowd," and everyone starts having fun with their cuddlies as the episode closes.

Moral/Lesson

  • Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed of what you have.

Trivia

  • Romeo introduces his Cuddly Transforming Machine.
  • Connor's cuddly is the stuffed cat toy that was stolen by Luna Girl in the Season 1 episode "Owlette and the Giving Owl," then Greg gave him in the Season 1 episode "Catboy's Tricky Ticket" when trying to bribe Connor to take him to the concert.
  • This is the first time the PJ Masks never shout "PJ Masks all shout hooray, cause' in the night, we saved the day!" after defeating a villain.
  • This is the first Season 2 episode to have a hero's name in its title.
  • It is shown that Romeo Dolls can talk.
  • The line "It's time to be a hero!" is repeated two times in this episode. The first time is from Owlette after Romeo and Robot leave to deliver the Romeo cuddlies to the kids in the town, and the second time is from Catboy after the PJ Masks realize their mistake of fearing of being embarrassed to own cuddlies themselves.
