Synopsis
It is night, and the PJ Masks are chasing after Romeo's Lab with their vehicles while the other Power Heroes are standing by. When Catboy tells Owlette and Gekko to try a move called the "three-way swoop", this confuses the other heroes as it does not involve them, leaving them uncertain of what to do. They ask Catboy for clarification, but he has no idea how to incorporate his new teammates into his plan. He tries to improvise, but can't keep track of everyone and they all end up colliding with each other, allowing Romeo to escape. Catboy doubts if he can lead a large team like this. Romeo sees everything on the monitor in his lab, and is quite pleased by this turn of events.
The following day, as they leave the school, Connor tells his friends he should handle their next mission solo. Amaya and Greg disagree and try to convince Connor he's a good leader, but he has made up his mind. Unbeknownst to them, Romeo is spying on the three with his Spy-Bot. That night, after the heroes meet up in Power Q, they see on the PJ Picture Player that Romeo and his robots are targeting multiple locations in the city at once. Catboy refuses the others' offer to help, and goes to the city alone with the Cat Racer to stop Romeo on his own.
He first goes to the Comic Book Store, where Robot is stealing some comics. Catboy quickly defeats him and forces him to leave the store. Next he goes to the library to stop some Fly Bots. Back at Power Q, the other heroes are clearly bored since they have nothing to do. To kill some time, they decide to give their headquarters a clean-up and some maintenance. Meanwhile, in the city, Catboy has made his way to The Park, where he runs into Romeo. When Catboy is about to confront him, he is attacked from behind by Robot, captured by some fly-bots and locked up in Romeo's Lab. Romeo has his robots trap Catboy on a treadmill-like device with which he wants to force Catboy to charge up a laser called the Speedy Zapper with his super speed. He also reveals he has been spying on Catboy and thus knew about his plans to go solo, and mocks Catboy for his failure to be a leader.
Back in Power Q, Owlette notices something is wrong because Catboy is now seemingly stuck in place instead of moving around, so she decides to check up on him. On Earth, the Speedy Zapper has been charged up and Romeo fires it at Power Q, just as Owlette is about to leave with her Owl-Glider. While she is able to escape, Power Q gets hit by the ray and all the equipment on board goes haywire. Romeo prepares to fire again, claiming the next shot will send Power Q even further into outer space. Catboy warns his teammates over their communicators about the situation, apologizing for allowing this to happen. The heroes again voice their trust in their leader, and Catboy rises to the challenge.
Guided by Catboy, the Power Heroes make a counter move against Romeo. Gekko, Newton and Lilyfay use their powers to deflect the incoming blast from the Speedy Zapper back to Earth. Owlette attacks Romeo's Lab with the Owl-Glider, destroying the device and freeing Catboy. Then the lab is hit by the deflected ray and goes out of control. The lab speeds away with Romeo being unable to stop it. Catboy and Owlette return to Power Q where Catboy congratulates his team and thanks them for not giving up on him. Together, they all shout their victory cry.
