Synopsis

The episode starts off with Romeo using his new invention: the Multiplying Machine. Before the PJ Masks can come up with a plan, Catboy speeds in to grab it, but Robot grabs him. Romeo multiplies a tree to surround them when they come out to help him. As Owlette flies Gekko out, Catboy jumps up and bumps into them. After Gekko lands on a tree, he camouflages himself, takes the invention from Romeo, and removes its power source, reverting everything back to normal. Romeo seemingly retreats.

The next day, as Connor, Amaya, and Greg decide on what to play in the sports field, they see multiple soccer balls and basketballs stuffed in soccer goals. They return to the park that night to see that Romeo has another Multiplying Machine. It turns out after he invented the first one, which is locked in HQ, he used it on itself to make a spare one. He is now using it to multiply Robot.

As Owlette and Gekko think of a plan to get the spare invention, Catboy jumps in his Cat-Car to use the Cat Roar to disable it. This results in the beam splitting up into three and hitting the three robots to double the number to six before Romeo can multiply another one. Romeo then reveals that he’s multiplying Robot to create a giant robot army so he can take over the world. He’ll have them capture everyone unless they do what he says.

Owlette and Gekko resort to doing their plan with just the two of them while Catboy, who is not listening, switches to using furballs. Owlette grabs the Multiplying Machine after spotting it with her Owl Eyes; however, she drops it after getting hit by a couple of furballs due to the furball button on Catboy’s control panel being stuck. The invention hits the Cat-Car, activating it, and Catboy is multiplied into two, the second one’s overall appearance different because of his powers.

The robot army goes after the team and the Multiplying Machine. Since there are too many robots, instead of throwing it to Gekko so he can remove its power source, Catboy uses it on his copy to make two more. The four jump on top of the robots and roll them. Catboy rolls his away, but the three copies have their own plans for them. The robot soon hits most of the robots and Catboy, causing him to drop the machine. Romeo retrieves it and multiplies another robot, then commands his robot army to capture the team, though they escape.

A few moments later, a bunch of logs are collected. As soon as the coast is clear, the team builds a fence around Romeo. However, when the robots appear, the three Catboy copies grab some of the logs for their own plan to stop them, despite Catboy telling them to stop. He tries to fix this by reaching for the Multiplying Machine before Romeo climbs out to escape, but he falls when one of the copies, who is running on a log super fast to trip the robots, crashes into the fence.

The three Catboy copies are later captured once their plans have failed. After Owlette and Gekko tell him like him with them, they’re doing their own thing and not listening to him, Catboy realizes his mistake and apologizes. The copies also apologize. He grabs Owlette and Gekko and speeds away before they can be captured as well. This time, he asks them how they can free his copies so there’ll be enough of them to stop the robots.

One transition later, as Romeo is climbing out of the fence, Gekko camouflages himself, runs up to the robots, and tells them that the team is behind the trees and to drop the Catboy copies. While Owlette focuses on one half, Catboy leads the other half to trip on a log trap. They are then rolled into the water. He next goes over to the log catapult one of the Catboy copies made earlier where he flings the fourth robot, who is tripped over as well, into the same location.

Owlette and Gekko grab the fifth robot after the Catboy copies knock him to them and place him in the water. After Catboy jumps over the last one, making him head straight into the water, he jumps on the real one and rolls him into the fence, knocking Romeo down. Catboy grabs the Multiplying Machine, gives it to Gekko, and he pulls the power source out, making all the Catboy and Robot copies disappear. Romeo and Robot retreat, leaving the PJ Masks to place the spare invention in HQ and shout out their signature victory phrase.

The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg are in the sports field, everything now back to normal. Connor declares to play soccer, but changes his mind and lets his friends decide what to play. The three laugh, ending the episode.
