Synopsis

The episode starts off with Connor pretending to be his favorite kung-fu hero, Master Fang, whom he knows a lot about, whose television show he never misses, and who taught him so much about being a hero. He falls down upon hearing Amaya and Greg enter his room and bends his pretend sword, much to his annoyance. They apologize and tell him not to get mad, especially since Master Fang never does so. Connor turns on his tablet to his TV show, only to find out that it’s been cancelled because someone stole his sword last night.

That night, Catboy, angry from the stolen sword, rushes the PJ Masks to search for the ninjas as soon as they find their footprints on the PJ Picture Player. They track them down through his Cat Ears until they find them on the bridge. Night Ninja has Master Fang’s sword; believing that he can use it better than him, he is making his own ninja TV show that will match the same standard. Owlette and Gekko ask Catboy what to do, but he instantly speeds in a couple of times in attempts to take it from him.

Not knowing what to do since Catboy is too angry, Owlette swoops in while Gekko sneaks in to help him grab the sword. This results in the Ninjalinos flinging her onto a billboard and Catboy to crash into him while trying to pounce on Night Ninja. Night Ninja pins the boys down with Sticky Splats, then relocates with his Ninjalinos to continue filming his TV show. Owlette removes herself from the billboard and the Sticky Splats from Catboy and Gekko as the former starts to throw a fit.

Owlette and Gekko tell Catboy to calm down and assure him that they’ll get the sword back once they think of a plan. Catboy just thinks that although Master Fang never gets angry, he must be right now since no one has stolen his sword before. The team searches for Night Ninja in the Cat-Car and slowly passes Master Fang's Dojo, where he teaches his kung-fu classes and does his TV show. They also admire the sword pictured on a couple of flags with jewels representing each year he’s been training.

The team soon arrives at the sports hall and hide behind some stacked mats as the ninjas run outside. Catboy is busy spying on the group, so Owlette suggests that he distract Night Ninja while Gekko camouflages himself to sneak up on him. However, Catboy interrupts by complaining about him using the sword. He jumps out to confront him, then tries to attack him, though the Ninjalinos jump past him, making him lose his balance and bump into Owlette and Gekko, who fly in to help him. The ninjas jump to the other side of the mats afterwards.

Owlette and Gekko tell Catboy to calm down like Master Fang because being angry is not helping. Fed up with hearing this, in addition to demanding them to deal with the Ninjalinos, Catboy snaps back at them, stating that he’ll get angry as much as he wants. He focuses on Night Ninja while being held back by a couple of Ninjalinos as he attempts to perform a special trick with the rest to prove how better he is at using the sword than Master Fang. He demands that the recently captured footage be removed and grabs the sword.

Meanwhile, Owlette and Gekko are left in shock from Catboy’s attitude towards them. A couple of Ninjalinos take this opportunity to wrap them up in the mats. After failing to get the sword again, Catboy witnesses his friends being placed on a cart and pushed away while the rest of the Ninjalinos throw him towards the mats. The ninjas run off, leaving him in a blind rage about being tricked until he hurts his foot and slips on a rolled-up mat. He takes a long look at one of the Master Fang flags, takes a deep breath, and finally realizes that his friends were right about being angry not helping.

Now calm, after running briefly in the wrong direction, Catboy runs off to save Owlette and Gekko. Even though he trips as he is about to grab the cart, he stays calm and quickly stacks multiple trash bags in its pathway. He boards it once it crashes through and guides it through multiple obstacles. He then slows it down with his Super Cat Speed, unravels his friends, and apologizes for getting angry at them, which they forgive him for and thank him for saving them.

Catboy now has a plan; the team returns to the sports hall where Night Ninja is about to record his ninja TV show to make the ninjas angry in hopes of them messing up. Catboy is about to get angry again when he sees him pulling the sword out from its scabbard, but calms down. The team convinces the Ninjalinos that Night Ninja is not allowing them to use it because it’s too beautiful for them to do so. Despite him attempting to explain that he is just better at using it himself, the ninjas tackle him and fight over it.

Night Ninja tries to retrieve the sword while at the same time trying to focus the camera on himself since he’s the star of him own show. The Ninjalinos stack on top of each other trying to grab the sword. Night Ninja jumps on top of the stack and catches it, but everyone loses their balance from the tall height and falls down. He drops it, and Catboy catches it. An angry Night Ninja chases his Ninjalinos out of the sports field, leaving the PJ Masks to exclaim their signature victory phrase.

The next day, Master Fang’s television show returns with a special thank you to the people who returned his sword. Connor falls down again while attempting to perform one of his moves. Nevertheless, he doesn’t get mad, knowing that he’ll practice until he gets it right. This time, he performs the move perfectly, and his friends cheer for him.
