Synopsis

Connor is re-enacting his favorite kung-fu hero, Master Fang. As he does one of his poses using a paper towel roll as a sword, Amaya and Greg enter in his bedroom and tell him that they are here to watch Master Fang's television show with him. Connor gets surprised by their appearance, loses his balance, and falls down on his bed. When he gets up, he sees that his paper towel roll sword is bent and groans in frustration. Amaya apologizes about herself and Greg startling him and tells him to not get mad; besides, Master Fang himself never gets angry. Connor agrees and explains that since he never misses his TV show, he knows everything about Master Fang, learned lots of things about being a hero from him, and is especially amazed how he never gets angry. He then grabs his tablet and turns it on. Once it is on Master Fang's TV show, though, Master Fang announces that his sword was stolen last night. Without it, he cannot do his show. Soon, the show turns off, and the kids are shocked about his message, especially Connor. He becomes determined to get it back tonight, and the PJ Masks announce their signature phrase.

Upon arriving at headquarters, Catboy is ready to get the sword back. Owlette stops him, and suggests that they should first look for clues. As she looks through the PJ Picture Player's surveillance cameras, Catboy starts getting impatient, until Gekko points out something on one of the screens: on one of the streets are Ninjalino footprints. With that, Catboy quickly presses his Cat Symbol icon on the PJ Picture Player and runs to the Cat-Car, groaning angrily. Owlette and Gekko are concerned about him - he is really angry about Master Fang's stolen sword. Nevertheless, they jump in the vehicle with him, and take off. Once in the town, Catboy activates his Cat Ears. He hears the Ninjalinos cheering and turns to follow their voices.

On the bridge, there is Night Ninja, and he has Master Fang's sword with him. He reveals that he is making his own ninja TV show, with two of his Ninjalinos as his TV crew. Once the Ninjalinos finish recording one segment of him, they start recording again, this time getting a profile shot of Night Ninja. As they do that, the Cat-Car drives in, and the PJ Masks jump out. Catboy demands Night Ninja to give back Master Fang's sword, but Night Ninja refuses. He claims that he can use the sword better than Master Fang himself. Therefore, he is going to make his own TV show, obviously feeling that his show will be better as well.

Owlette and Gekko are ready to stop Night Ninja, and ask Catboy what should they do. However, Catboy just activates his Super Cat Speed, and runs towards Night Ninja to get the sword. The villain jumps over him, and Catboy tries again, this time pouncing towards him. It is to no avail, though, as Night Ninja slides under him. Owlette and Gekko are surprised; since Catboy is really angry, he does not have a plan. Not knowing what to do, they decide to jump in. Owlette swoops down towards Night Ninja to get the sword, but a couple of Ninjalinos grab her cape and pull her down. They fling her towards a billboard, and she crashes. With Owlette out, Gekko uses his Super Gekko Camouflage and Super Lizard Grip to crawl across the bridge while Catboy resumes to chase Night Ninja back and forth. When the villain stops running to where Gekko is, he crawls up behind him and prepares to take the sword from him. Unfortunately, when Catboy tries to jump on him again, Night Ninja runs off, and he crashes into Gekko as he disables his power. Once the boys are down, Night Ninja throws some Sticky Splats at them to ensure that they will stay down at where they are. He then walks away with his Ninjalinos to another spot where they can do his TV show in peace.

After they leave, Owlette manages to get herself out of the billboard. She flies over towards Catboy and Gekko, and takes the Sticky Splats off of them. Gekko thanks Owlette for helping them out, but Catboy angrily stands up and starts throwing a fit. Gekko and Owlette ask him to calm down and say that they will get Master Fang's sword back as long as they can think of a plan. They advise him to stay calm like Master Fang, who never gets angry. Catboy does not listen, and claims that Master Fang must be angry like he is because his sword is stolen for the first time. He quickly jumps in the Cat-Car, and Owlette and Gekko follow along, although concerned. As they drive around to find Night Ninja, the PJ Masks slowly pass by Master Fang's dojo, which is the place where he both teaches his kung-fu classes and does his TV show. By his dojo are a couple of flags of Master Fang with his sword. It shows all the jewels, which represent each year of his training.

Soon, the PJ Masks arrive at the park. They jump out of the Cat-Car and hide behind the bushes. Once the coast is clear, they run over behind a couple of stacked mats, when Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos exit the sports hall. Catboy gets ready to face off Night Ninja again, but Owlette pulls him back, although he jumps up to peek at Night Ninja. As the villain uses Master Fang's sword while his Ninjalinos record him and cheer him on, Gekko asks Catboy of what is his plan. Catboy groans angrily in response, so Owlette starts suggesting that he distract Night Ninja, while Gekko uses his Super Gekko Camouflage to sneak up on the villain. Before she could finish off the plan, though, Catboy complains of Night Ninja using Master Fang's sword. Owlette and Gekko try to calm him down, but Catboy jumps out from behind the mats, runs towards Night Ninja, and again demands him to give back the sword. Seeing this as a chance to get some footage for his show, Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos jump away from Catboy, and the Ninjalinos jump back to get him. Owlette and Gekko look at what is happening, and fly over to help Catboy out. Catboy uses his Super Cat Jump to jump past the Ninjalinos, but he loses his balance as they fly past him and falls down. He bumps into Owlette and Gekko, and they fall down as well. The Ninjalinos soon jump towards Night Ninja, going on top of Owlette and Gekko in the process, and prepare to go off to the other side of the mats.

Getting angrier, Catboy starts going towards the villains. Owlette and Gekko quickly run over to him and tell him that he has to calm down, like Master Fang, because being angry is not helping him get the sword back. Now fed up, Catboy angrily tells them to take care of the Ninjalinos, and to stop telling him to calm down, not caring how angry he is getting. He jumps up the mats to get Night Ninja's attention, while he leaves Owlette and Gekko in shock. They are really surprised to see that Catboy had just lashed out on them. Suddenly, the Ninjalinos go on each side of the mats that the two are on, and roll them up, trapping the two. Catboy does not pay attention to this, though, because he has his full focus on Night Ninja, claiming to him that Master Fang is better at him. In response, Night Ninja throws the sword up in the air, and with the help of his Ninjalinos, who also hold back Catboy, he does a couple of jumping tricks before he lands on top of them, who soon come over to form a pyramid. When he tries to catch the sword, though, he loses his balance, and all of them fall down. Seeing that the accident has been recorded, Night Ninja tells the two Ninjalinos to delete the footage and picks up the sword. Catboy tries to get it, but the Ninjalinos hold him back, carry him, and throw him towards the mats. As he lands, he sees the two TV crew Ninjalinos place the rolled-up mats containing Owlette and Gekko on a cart and push them away. With everything taken care of, Night Ninja and the rest of the Ninjalinos run off.

Not knowing what to do with both Night Ninja running away and Owlette and Gekko in trouble, Catboy goes into a huge rage and pounces and rolls around and about. A few seconds later, he kicks a rolled-up mat, but he injures his foot and grabs it, jumping around for a bit before he slips on the mat, rolls around, and falls down. Laying down on the ground, he takes a long look at one of the Master Fang flags. After a moment, he stands up and takes a deep breath. He realizes that Owlette and Gekko were right about being angry. It did not help him, and he yelled at them for telling him that. Now calm, he runs off to save Owlette and Gekko. He goes in the wrong direction at first, but he soon catches himself, and runs in the right direction. In just a few moments, the Ninjalinos push the cart out of their sight, and Owlette and Gekko roll around the town. Fortunately for them, Catboy quickly catches up to them, and reaches out to grab the cart. However, he trips and falls down, and the two roll away. He stays calm, though, stands up, and goes in the path that Owlette and Gekko are on. He stacks multiple trash bags in front of the cart, jumps on top of the pile, and waits. Once the cart crashes through, he takes off and lands on the cart. After a few moments of guiding the cart through the obstacles, he holds onto the cart, jumps down, and uses his Super Cat Speed to slow it down. Soon, it stops, and Owlette and Gekko fall off and roll out of the mats. Now that they are safe, Catboy apologizes to his friends about getting mad at them. They accept his apology, and thank him for saving them, giving him a high-five. Catboy then thinks of a plan; if they can make Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos angry, they will also mess up. With that, they prepare to face them off.

Catboy's Cat symbol transitions back over to the sports hall. With the two Ninjalinos back to record him, Night Ninja gets ready to do his ninja TV show. Suddenly, he hears Catboy's voice and looks up. There are the PJ Masks on top of the mats, telling him again to give up the sword. Night Ninja refuses, because once he takes out the sword, they will never stop him. That being said, he begins to take it out, much to Catboy's shock. He starts getting angry again, knowing that Master Fang is the only one who can take out the sword, but stops himself and asks the Ninjalinos why are they not allowed to use the sword. Owlette agrees, and claims that maybe it is because it is too beautiful for them to try it. Hearing these comments, the Ninjalinos look at each other and stare angrily at Night Ninja. Nervous, the villain tries to explain that he is just better at using it himself. Not convinced, the Ninjalinos jump and land on top of Night Ninja. Holding him down, one of them takes the sword from him and runs away with it, with the Ninjalinos now chasing him. They soon grab him, and he drops the sword, and the Ninjalinos try to catch it, stacking on top of each other. While this is happening, Night Ninja looks at the two Ninjalinos recording this and grabs the camera, telling them that they should be focusing on him. He then drops the camera, runs over and jumps up to the top of the stack, and catches the sword. Everyone loses their balance, though, and they all fall down. Night Ninja drops the sword, and Catboy retrieves it. Now angry, Night Ninja chases his Ninjalinos out of the park. With the sword now retrieved, the PJ Masks exclaim their signature victory phrase.

The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg are in Connor's bedroom, checking Connor's tablet to see if Master Fang's television show is back on. Sure enough, it is, and Master Fang opens it up by saying a special thanks to the person(s) who retrieved his sword. The kids high-five each other, and Connor practices one of Master Fang's moves to celebrate. He fall downs, though, and Amaya and Greg laugh. They then remind him not to get mad, saying that there is no need to, especially if it is not perfect. Connor reassures them, stating that he will practice over and over again, and he does the move again. This time, he perfects it, and the kids laugh and cheer.
