SummaryGekko tries to assist his teammates on missions rather than keep a lookout at Power Q. But little does he know that Octobella has something very sinister in store.[2] CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Gekko Muscles In":
SynopsisGreg, Connor and Amaya are in The Park, where Greg shows his friends a scrapbook he made about their first adventures, when the team consisted of just the three of them. Then Ivan drops by with a new Fuzzily the Fierce comic, which Amaya finds more interesting than Greg's scrapbook. He is followed by Newton, with whom Connor immediately strikes up a conversation about space, leaving Greg feeling left out. Connor also brings up the other heroes that have since joined them, and while he agrees with Greg that they did do good things back in the days when they were just a trio, they are now even better. Greg however, begins to feel he's old news. He insists on going on whatever tonight's mission is. That night, the whole team meets up in Power Q, where several missions await them: Newton, Lilyfay and An Yu go on a mission to Mystery Mountain, Catboy and Ice Cub investigate a fight between Luna Girl and Night Ninja, who are accusing one other of stealing each other's stuff, and Owlette and Bastet deal with a similar argument between Romeo and the Speedy Twins. However, this leaves Gekko with nothing to do, so Catboy orders him to stay at Power Q and scan the city to find where the stolen items went. Once his teammates have left however, Gekko secretly heads to Earth. He thus fails to notice the PJ Picture Player showing two bubbles rising out of the Moat. Gekko tries to help Catboy and Ice Cub break up the fight between Luna Girl and Night Ninja, but only ends up getting zapped by the Luna Magnet and hit by Sticky Splat. The two villains angrily depart, while Ice Cub frees Gekko and assures him he and Catboy have things covered. Next, he tries to help Owlette and Bastet, which doesn't go any better; and he begins to feel more unneeded. Meanwhile, the bubbles from before return to the Moat, led by Percival. They turn out to belong to Octobella, containing all the items the other baddies were missing: Luna's moon crystal, Romeo's robot arms, the wing tips of the Flashcar, and sticky splat. She uses these items to upgrade her Octo-Legs. Gekko is on his way back to Power Q when he notices a purple glow coming from the moat and stops to investigate. In Power Q, PJ Robot has noticed the bubbles and alerts the other heroes. Catboy asks Gekko why he didn't report this, and Gekko admits he wasn't scanning the city like he should have been doing. Octobella emerges from the Moat with her new Octo-Legs, and captures him in a forcefield. The Octo-Legs can fly now, and she heads off into the sky, taking Gekko with her. On the ground, the heroes and villains all come together and see the new Octo-Legs. The heroes immediately chase after Octobella, while the villains decide to sit this one out and reclaim their stuff after the heroes are done with the octopus girl. With her new Octo-Legs, Octobella easily defeats the PJ Explorider and captures Catboy. Owlette flies to the two captured boys, and Gekko admits he just wanted things to be like the old days again. He then realizes he should have stayed in Power Q and kept an eye on things as instructed. But since the forcefield he's now in is high above the city, he realizes he can still do so. He begins giving Bastet, Owlette and Ice Cub instructions on how to fight the Octo-Legs. While Bastet and Ice Cub keep Octobella distracted, Owlette uses her feathers to disable the robot arms, after which Bastet takes the moon crystal, depowering the Octo-Legs. This also dissolves the forcefields, freeing Gekko and Catboy. Octobella flees the scene, leaving her Octo-Legs behind. Catboy congratulates Gekko for his help, to which the latter apologizes for not doing as he was told, while the others apologize for unintentionally leaving Gekko out of their missions. With the situation contained, the team shout their victory cry. Moral/Lesson
