"Gekko Vs Armavillain" (also known as "Gluglu contre..." in French) is the first segment of the 11th Season 4 episode of PJ Masks.
Desperate to prove himself, Gekko recruits Armadylan for extra training.
The following characters appeared in the episode "Gekko Vs Armavillain":
The episode begins with the PJ Masks sharing how they were recently able to defeat Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos. Gekko lifts a car for the purpose of sharing his move to reveal a hiding Ninjalino. He scares him, causing him to lose his balance, and, while able to place the vehicle safely on the ground, land on a Sticky Splat. Gekko becomes upset, believing himself as not a hero as he feels that he always messes up and needs help. Catboy and Owlette assure him that everyone needs help sometimes, but he thinks that he’ll need training.
The next day, Greg works on a routine to make himself fitter, stronger, and better. Although not wanting help initially, he considers his friends’ idea of having a training buddy. Therefore, that night, he recruits Armadylan since he’ll need a strong person like him. After the two lift weights in the park, Gekko prepares to take on the villains. There are none, however, so he has Armadylan play the villain role instead for training purposes.
Armadylan heads into town and causes destruction. Catboy and Owlette are worried, though Gekko insists that it’s perfect for his training. Using his Super Gekko Muscles, he cleans up the destruction, then catches several cars Armadylan is throwing, and throws them back at him to create a barrier. He claims his victory, but believes it to be too easy. Taking it up to the next level, Armadylan Thunder Rolls to HQ to “take it over,” bumping into and telling PJ Robot that it’s for training. He messes with the PJ Picture Player until the PJ Seeker option is selected.
As soon as Gekko eventually opens the door and enters HQ, refusing his friends’ help, Armadylan enters the PJ Seeker and drives around the town, knocking a couple of cars out of the way. Gekko boards the vehicle to stop him, but is forced to hang on when it speeds up. The vehicle returns as Catboy and Owlette, who have tried to catch up with the boys, are coughing from the picked-up dust left behind. Owlette uses her Owl Feathers to create a fence to protect HQ and finally make Armadylan stop.
Catboy and Owlette are relieved to hear that Armadylan’s done pretending to be a villain. Gekko’s not happy because the training was only meant for him; he feels he messed up, which means they had to help him again. They tell him that they’ll always be there to do so because friends help friends. This gives him an idea: thinking that it won’t always be the case, Gekko throws them, plus PJ Robot, inside the PJ Seeker to pretend Armadylan has trapped them, and he can complete his training by himself. Attempts to exit the vehicle have been unsuccessful.
Gekko gives Armadylan Romeo’s confiscated inventions, which include the Freeze Ray and the Anti-Gravity Machine. Armadylan refuses to use them because he doesn’t want to be the villain; he wants to be the hero instead. Their argument causes the Anti-Gravity Machine to zap the PJ Seeker, causing it to float towards space. Gekko notifies his friends what happened, and realizes that this is all his fault because he put them in danger as he was so focused on proving himself to be a hero.
To fix his mistake, Gekko has Armadylan help out as a hero this time. Armadylan Thunder Throws him up to the PJ Seeker from the top of HQ, where he pries open the door with his Super Strength and enters. He quickly apologizes for his actions and instructs Catboy to throw a Super Cat Stripe down to Armadylan. They are not long enough, so Owlette uses as much Owl Wing Wind power as she can on the vehicle to counter the Anti-Gravity Machine’s strong effects and reach a reasonable distance for him to do so.
The team slides down to Armadylan once he catches the Super Cat Stripe and Catboy ties the other end to the PJ Seeker. Together, the four pull the vehicle down as hard as they can, eventually landing on the ground. While the group anchors it, PJ Robot grabs the Anti-Gravity Machine and sets it in reverse. He zaps the vehicle, and it lands back on the ground. Gekko thanks all of his friends for their help. He’s now learned that he is a hero, and sometimes, heroes do need help. Armadylan says good-bye to the PJ Masks, leaving them to proclaim their signature victory phrase.
