Synopsis
The episode starts off in the library; Greg shows Connor and Amaya a book about the strongest athletes in the world and the awards they’ve won. He wishes he could win a medal to prove how strong he is. The kids head off to the park to read when they see damaged lampposts. That night, upon driving into town, there is a loud rumble followed by a huge boulder that almost crashes into them. Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos also appear and are chasing it.
The PJ Masks soon catch up after Night Ninja fails to break the rock. He explains that the rock is called the Rock of All Power that the Ninjalinos rolled over from an ancient mountain temple. According to the legend, there is a precious medallion hidden inside, and only the strongest hero can claim it. The ninjas continue their attempts to break open the rock, then roll it in hopes of it cracking.
Hearing this, Gekko bets that he’s strong enough to break open the Rock of All Power. If he can do so, then he can get the medallion himself and not Night Ninja, preventing him from smashing things up, and everyone would know he is the strongest. Catboy and Owlette tell him that he’s super strong already and that no one can break the rock, so they need to stop it before it wrecks the city. Catboy runs around the ninjas while Owlette flies Gekko in so he can take the rock to HQ.
However, Gekko decides to try breaking the rock and uses his Super Gekko Muscles. It flies over to Night Ninja, who hits it towards the playground, though Owlette quickly blows it back to Gekko. He gives another try, promising to be careful this time, but it goes back to Night Ninja. The ninjas go to the museum and use a lamppost on the rock as a battering ram until Gekko catches it, hits it, and it rolls away.
Later, the team finds Night Ninja near HQ, intending to break the rock against it since it’s the toughest building in the city. Gekko tries to stop it once it gets launched, but it tilts the structure and almost runs over Catboy and Owlette. As he fixes HQ, he realizes it’s all his fault; instead of placing the rock inside, he got caught up in his attempts to break it, which placed his friends and everyone in danger. After the ninjas reset the catapult with a bigger object and launch the rock, he climbs up HQ and hits it before it can damage the place again.
Suddenly, the rock breaks open and reveals the golden medallion. Despite Night Ninja demanding that it be given to him, the team informs that even though he threw the rock, Gekko was the one who broke it with his Super Strength. The reason why he was able to do so is because of his need to care and help everyone. Night Ninja is angered; nevertheless, he accepts defeat, and the ninjas go back to the ancient temple for more training.
Gekko decides that he doesn’t need the medallion. Since it’s from far away and there’s a legend about it, he’s giving it to the museum. He fixes the damage in town, and the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, the Rock of All Power and its medallion is on display for everyone to see.
