SynopsisPart 1The special begins with Gloop the Third riding in his Gloopster above the city, ready to invade. Newton appears ready to stop the aliens. Gloop activates the gloop blasters and fires at Newton, but he dodges all the blasts and uses his star power to blow the Gloopster away. But then he sees the Gloopster going back to space and straight towards the Power Q, much to his shock. Gloop takes this opportunity to gloop the HQ, so Newton flies to space to stop him. Owlette and PJ Robot are at the Power Q and see the Gloopster ready to attack, much to their shock. Newton is almost there, but won't make it in time. PJ Robot finds a passing comet far from HQ, then Lilyfay appears flying. She uses her Starlight Zing to push to comet straight towards the Gloopster. The comet collides it and the ship is pushed further away in space. Owlette and PJ Robot congrate Lilyfay as she sends the comet back to space, while Newton looks upset. When Lilyfay enters Power Q, Owlette and PJ Robot hug her. Catboy, Gekko, Ice Cub and Bastet enter right after, having received the alarm. When Owlette tells them how Lilyfay saved HQ, the four heroes praise her as well. Newton, who has just entered HQ, feels overlooked for not being able to save the day. Owlette comforts him, assuring he'll be able to do so next time. PJ Robot offers everyone some juice to celebrate. As the rest of the heroes celebrate, a dejected Newton leaves Power Q. He flies to space and meets up with his asteroids, where he expresses his sadness for not being as great a hero as his friends, especially Lilyfay. He decides to take a few nights off to explore space and discover new things. Unbeknownst to him, Gloop is watching everything from his picture player in the Gloopster and hatches a new plan. The following day, Connor and Greg go to the museum and find Newton reading lots of books about outer space. The two are suprised to know Newton will take nights off, but assure they will handle missions while he is away. Newton then walks away, but his friends notice his sadness. That night, the Power Heroes meet up in the Power Q. To make sure Newton's time off will not be disturbed, the heroes decide to look out for villains, so everyone, except Newton and Gekko, leaves. Gekko gives Newton some granola bars he baked to take on his trip. Newton thanks his friend, takes the box with the snacks and leaves, but Gekko realizes his friend is not okay. Newton meets with his asteroids before deciding which part of space to explore. Thinking the Power Heroes won't need him around, he flies away but fails to realize the Gloopster is following him. He finds a new asteroid, which doesn't have any powers. But then the Gloopster gloops him from behind, trapping him in a ball of gloop. Newton is then pulled into the spaceship. Inside the Gloopster, Gloop the Third and his Gloopets make fun of him. Gloop then takes Newton to the ship's controls and shows a video of him talking to his asteroids. Then the Gloopster flies off and gloops some asteroids. Then a black hole opens in space, much to Newton's shock, and the Gloopster goes through it. The spaceship arrives on another planet, with metal junk floating over the sky and many puddles of gloop, alien plants and a factory that also acts as a docking station, with a defense system. Newton is very shocked, and disgusted by the smell. Gloop welcomes him to his home world: Planet Gloop. Meanwhile on Earth, the PJ Masks and Lilyfay are at the museum fighting Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos. They manage to scare the villains off and they run away. Then Gekko spots the table where Newton was reading earlier, and wonders if he is okay. Lilyfay believes he might be having fun exploring space, but Gekko is not sure. Remembering how upset Newton seemed when he left, Catboy comments he was like this while he was reading as well. Owlette then remembers Newton wasn't exactly himself last night either. The heroes come to realize that Newton might not be okay. Part 2The Power Heroes (except Newton) meet up in the Power Q again. PJ Robot shows everyone the security footages of everything that has happened last night to discover why Newton was upset. They watch how Lilyfay stopped the Gloopster with that asteroid and are impressed by her heroism. But then they see how upset Newton was, and the heroes were so busy celebrating Lilyfay's success they didn't even realized Newton was there. The heroes realize Newton is doubting himself as a hero and that's why he left. Lilyfay comments Newton is great hero, but Owlette responds that the heroes didn't make him feel that way. The heroes set to look for him throughout the Milky Way: Lilyfay flies on her own, Catboy, Bastet and Ice Cub take the PJ Explorider, while Owlette, Gekko and An Yu take the Newtron. Meanwhile, on Planet Gloop, Gloop the Third and his Gloopets take a trapped Newton to show him their planet. It has many lakes with gloop, volcanoes that spout gloop and a gloop factory within its docking station, which they use to fuel up the spaceship. Then Gloop shows Newton he also took his asteroids, much to the boy's horror. Gloop claims Newton is an amazing hero, especially because of his star powers, which he gets from his asteroids. Gloop apparently wants the star power for himself, but Newton refuses. Knowing Newton would say that, Gloop orders his Gloopets to take some equipment, claiming he will drain the asteroids' star power into his gloop, and make star gloop. Newton claims he can't, because doing it would be difficult and dangerous, and Newton himself is the only person who could actually use it, but claims he will not. Gloop calmly responds that Newton will eventually do it as he looks into the black hole in the sky. Elsewhere in space, the Power Heroes have not found Newton yet. Lilyfay suggests she look within the "other" universes, which surprises the heroes in knowing there are others. Lilyfay flies at hyperspeed to every other universe she knows, but she can't find Newton in any of them. Owlette suggests they look for clues, and that's when Gekko notices Newton's asteroids are not in their usual spot. The heroes also find them with no powers, but then they see one covered in gloop. Owlette and Gekko leave the Newtron and float to the asteroid with Lilyfay to examine it. Gekko then spots the granola bars he gave Newton floating in space, and puts them back in the box. Seeing more asteroids covered in gloop, Owlette realizes Newton has been captured by Gloop the Third. They then see a trail of other glooped asteroids. As Owlette and Gekko return to the Newtron, all the Power Heroes follow the trail. They eventually find the black hole from earlier, which starts pulling them in. They try to fly away, but its gravity is too strong. Only Lilyfay manages to do so, and she watches horrified as her friends are sucked into the hole. The heroes find themselves on Planet Gloop, and are repulsed by the odor. Then they are attacked by more gloop, so they fly away and dodge. One of the Gloopets is blasting at them while the others and Gloop laugh. This was all part of Gloop's plan; he knew the heroes would come for Newton and left the glooped asteroids trails for the them to follow. Newton orders Gloop to leave them alone, to which the alien leader asks why he wouldn't want his friends to get glooped after ignoring him, but the latter replies they are still his friends. The PJ Explorider and the Newtron are eventually hit with gloop, and Gloop The Third controls the gloop to make the vehicles fly to the metal junk floating in the sky, making the vehicles hit and crash in all the metal, much to Newton's horror. Still elsewhere in space, Lilyfay is disgusted by the smell coming from out of the black hole, but when she hears her friends' cries for help coming from inside it, Lilyfay immediately enters the hole. Back on the Planet Gloop, Gloop The Third blackmails Newton to create the star gloop with his friends in danger between the trash, so Newton is forced to comply, then Gloop frees him. Lilyfay enters Gloop, although still disgusted by the smell, she rushes to the vehicles where her friends are. She tries to take the gloop off, but it's too strong, then the gloop releases a strong sound wave, so strong it pushes Lilyfay back through the black hole. Meanwhile, Newtron is preparing the machines to drain the asteroids' power into the gloop. He genuinely apologizes to his asteroids, but he has to do it to save his friends. Newton sadly starts the experiment, the Gloopets watch in amazement as the asteroids' star power is drained into the planet's gloop, then the Gloopster is filled with it. Gloop the Third maliciously laughs as his star gloop is created. Part 3Lilyfay flies back to Planet Gloop and hides behind some of the floating junk to see what the aliens are doing. The PJ Explorider and the Newtron are being taken down by the gloop, much to Lilyfay's horror. The vehicles fall into the gloop lake. The heroes leave their vehicles and face Gloop The Third with his Gloopets and a sad Newton. The heroes run off and split up, so Gloop orders his Gloopets to go after them, and he activates his new star gloop. This makes the balls of gloop glow and float with star power to chase the heroes. The Gloopets control the star gloop balls with their minds and use them to capture the Power Heroes one by one. Lilyfay is hiding behind some rocks, planning on how to save her friends without getting the aliens' attention. The Power Heroes are free from the gloop, but are forced to sit down and not move a muscle and Gloop joins Newton with them. The latter asks what his friends are doing here, and Ice Cub responds they wouldn't leave him behind. Gloop The Third shows the Power Heroes the gloop around the planet and explains how he made Newton drain his asteroids' powers in the gloop to create his new Star Gloop. Soon the star gloop fills up his Gloopster, and Gloop is more powerful than ever and will later use it to take over Earth and the universe. Newton blames himself for everything. Then Lilyfay, still hiding, whispers to Owlette about her plan: Newton needs to reverse the experiment, drain the star power back and turn the gloop back to normal. Owlette whispers the plan to Bastet, who then passes it on to An Yu, then Gekko, then Ice Cub, then Catboy who finally passes it on to Newton. Newton claims it will work, but he needs the machines to do so, and they are trapped. The Heroes, one by one, pass these details to Lilyfay. She says she will create a distraction so Newton can do it, and the heroes pass this back to Newton. But he thinks he will mess up again, claiming all of this was his fault. Catboy and Ice Cub encourage him, claiming he is the brains of them team, but Newton responds how he was captured and forced to make the star gloop, and how he messed up the other night. The heroes pass this remorse on to Lilyfay, who, in her shock upon hearing Newton thinking of himself as an unfit hero, accidentally blows their cover to the Gloopets. She flies away as Gloop the Third sends more star gloop to chase after her. Unfortunately, the space fairy gets caught in the Star Gloop, to her friends' horror, and Newton blames himself again. The Gloopets fill the Gloopster with more Star Gloop. Gloop the Third claims he will invade Earth and the universe easily, as the heroes won't be able to stop him. Which is true, since the vehicles are stuck in the gloop lake, and Newton has no star powers. Lilyfay is now the only hero who could stop Gloop, but she is stuck and Gloop will take her as his prisoner. He claims to Newton this was all thanks to him, which upsets him even more. So Gloop and the Gloopets take Lilyfay and Newton's asteroids to the Gloopster, to the other Power Heroes' horror. Newton claims that Gloop was right, it is really all his fault. The Power Heroes claim they messed up too, not realizing Newton was upset while cheering for Lilyfay. The aliens get the Gloopster to fly and sets its course for Earth, and the heroes horrifyingly witness the spaceship flying through the black hole with Lilyfay inside it. Catboy refuses to give up hope, but Owlette responds that they can't leave with their vehicles sinking into the gloop. Newton is upset while the heroes apologize for making him feel like he wasn't needed, claiming he indeed, is the smartest of the team and his brilliant mind helped the heroes save the day many times. This touches and revitalizes Newton, making him realize that he should have talked to his friends about his feelings before. After looking at his friends, Newton gets the idea of making Gloop with his friends' PJ powers. Making gloop with Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko's powers wouldn't get them off the planet, but a gloop made with Bastet's sun power would. Newton gets the machines working as the heroes look at the black hole in the sky, preparing to save Earth and Lilyfay. Part 4The Gloopster is flying straight to Earth. Gloop the Third is excited to conquer it along with the rest of the universe, while Lilyfay is worried. PJ Robot receives the alarm on Power Q's picture player and watches horrifyingly as the Gloopster flies to Earth. He blasts fur balls from the Power Q at the spaceship, but the aliens dodge them. As PJ Robot fires more fur balls, Gloop uses the star gloop to block the fur balls, and then gloops Power Q. Believing no one can stop them from invading, Gloop and his Gloopets head straight to Earth. Meanwhile, back on Planet Gloop, the Power Heroes are preparing the machines to create their own PJ gloop. Once everything is ready, they start the experiment. Bastet charges her Sun Disc powers on the gloop, then she and Newton create Sun Gloop and use it to fuel the vehicles, making them float out of the gloop lake, much to everyone's happiness. Catboy, Ice Cub and An Yu ride on the PJ Explorider while Newton, Owlette, Gekko and Bastet take the Newtron. The heroes fly to the black hole and pass through it, leaving Planet Gloop. The heroes return to the solar system, right close to Earth. Unfortunately, there's only a little amount of the Sun Gloop left, but Newton assures this is all they will need. The Power Heroes turn around and fly to the Power Q, where the energy is running out. Newton adds the last bit of sun gloop to the Newtron's lasers and uses them to blast the star gloop over HQ, destroying it and releasing it, and turning the energy back on, much to PJ Robot's joy. Bastet compliments Newton's brilliant idea, which he shyly thanks. The Power Heroes fly straight to Earth to stop Gloop The Third. The heroes fly over the city, when Ice Cub spots the Gloopster, the Gloopets get out of it and are ready to blast them. Newton comes up with a new plan. He lets his friends take care of the Gloopets and has Owlette fly the Newtron, and he will save Earth and Lilyfay. Gekko points out Newton barely has any power left and they used all of the sun gloop, then Newton shows him a new lizard gloop he created before the sun gloop filled with Gekko's powers, so the latter takes it for good use. Gekko and Newton leave the Newtron and part ways. Gekko goes after the Gloopets, who are blasting Star Gloop everywhere. The lizard gloop blocks the Star Gloop attacks and Gekko uses his mind to control it, making it turn invisible to attack the Gloopets. Meanwhile, Newton flies to the Gloopster and silently enters it. In the Gloopster, he approaches Lilyfay and tells her to be quiet. Gloop The Third is watching his Gloopets. Newton drains the star power from the star gloop, retrieving an amount of his powers and breaking the gloop, but is leaving Lilyfay weak, so Newton helps her to her feet. They spot Newton's asteroids and Lilyfay tells Newton to save them, but he claims he will save her first. They are suddenly spotted by Gloop, who blasts gloop at them, but Newton destroys it with his star power, much to Gloop's anger. This leaves Newton weak as Lilyfay, but he and the space fairy manage to escape the Gloopster. Outside in the city, Lilyfay compliments Newton's rescue, commenting it was cooler than hers with the comet. But Newton assures her they both are cool in every way. Soon they run to catch up with the Gloopster. Gloop is angrily in shock to see what Newton has made with his gloop and flies to him and Lilyfay. Newton tries to attack, but his star power is too weak. When Gloop is about to gloop the two heroes, Catboy attacks the Gloopster with owl feathers from the Owl-Glider, then Owlette uses the Newtron's lasers and blasts the Gloopster back into outer space. After Gloop pulls himself together, PJ Robot uses the Power Q's blaster and blasts the Gloopster back down to Earth. The spaceship plummets, but Gekko uses his muscles to catch the ship. Gloop The Third falls out of it, very dizzy. The rest of the Power Heroes land right next to him, while Newton and Lilyfay take the Gloopets back to Gloop. Gekko gives Newton his asteroids back, the latter hugs the asteroids in relief, and Lilyfay, who has recovered from getting glooped, gives Newton the last of the Star Gloop. Gloop and his Gloopets are forced to enter the Gloopster and Gekko uses his super strength to throw the Gloopster back into space. Newton drains the star power from the gloop and gives it back to his asteroids, restoring his powers completely. As his friends cheer for him, Newton takes his asteroids back to space. The Power Heroes return to Power Q and watch from there. Newton is glad to have his powers and his friends back. The rest of the heroes comment this was the most awesome space adventure they've ever had in their lives. To celebrate, Gekko bakes pistachio granola bars for all of his friends. As the heroes take one bar for each of them, they all shout their victory cry after such a successful mission. Moral/Lesson
