Iceworld

The PJ Masks in the Ice World

Iceworld, nicknamed The Frozen/Icy/Frosty Wilderness, is a location in the PJ Masks television series. It was first seen in the Season 6/PJ Masks: Power Heroes episode "Iceworld."

Location

Iceworld is another dimension, the entrance of which is hidden in The Park in Tarabiscoville. To access the gateway to Iceworld, one needs a special key made out of ice. When this key is taken to a wall deep in the park, the portal materializes and can be opened with the key when inserted into a lock. However, after the original key was stolen from Ice Cub, PJ Robot was able to make a replica.[1]

It is unknown how long the portal has been here, or how it got here.

Appearance

Iceworld looks like a large, frozen landscape where everything is covered in ice and snow. There are mountains, glaciers and caves.

The northern lights are visible in the sky, and in several places the landscape is askew with skeletal remains of some giant, unspecified prehistoric creatures.

Specific locations are:

  • Ice Stairway: A stairway covered in ice, making it extremely difficult to climb. The stairway has 72 steps.[2]
    • There are also slopes for sliding through the landscape which requires a snowboard.
  • Tunnel of Winds: A narrow tunnel in an iceberg, through which a strong chilling wind blows in a single direction with a speed of 120 miles per hour.[2]
  • Cave of Ice Powers: A large cave that is in the shape of two polar bears. Inside the cave is a polar bear statue holding a mystical Crystal Icicle. To the left and right of the path leading to this statue are two other statues of armored, anthropomorphic polar bears. These statues are armed with spears that can shoot a freeze ray to attack those who dare to claim the crystal while protecting it, as a test of agility and worthiness. Anyone who enters the cave is attacked by these statues.
  • Santa's Workshop: In "The Christmas Ninjalinos", it is revealed that Santa has his workshop in the North Pole section of Iceworld.

Trivia

  • This is the third location to lead to a different dimension.
    • The first location is Mystery Mountain.
    • The second location is Zoomzania.
      • However, unlike the two aforementioned dimensions whose respective characters reside in, Ice Cub does not live in Iceworld as he has moved into the city from another town.
  • The only known creature living here so far is a Reindeer that is identical to those that belong to Santa in this series.
  • The French name for Iceworld is Frigoria.
  • The northern lights can be seen in the sky in Iceworld during the night, it's possible that the Iceworld portal leads to the North Pole.
  • Just like Mystery Mountain, Iceworld is somehow sentient and can get angry when someone steals powerful items from the landscape.
