Synopsis
The episode begins with Connor, Amaya, and Greg playing basketball. Amaya calls out for the boys to pass the ball to her, though they don’t hear her, so she intervenes, but bumps into something invisible. That night, Gekko brings it inside HQ, and PJ Robot scans it to identify a statue of Romeo. The PJ Masks run outside shortly after he is seen on the PJ Picture Player.
Romeo introduces his Invisibility Ray, which was responsible for the invisible statue. Now that he’s mastered invisibility, he’s going to use the ray on himself so he can finally defeat the team and take over the world. He demonstrates it on Robot; however, when he zaps him again to make him reappear, he accidentally knocks it out of his hands. It hits the ground and turns Owlette invisible. Romeo proceeds to zap her back to normal, but the ray’s on low battery. He goes off to recharge it while Robot keeps the team busy.
As Owlette asks what she can do, Gekko distracts Robot with some dance moves, and Catboy runs over to get the ray so they can charge it at HQ and make her visible. Robot notices Catboy and grabs him, so Gekko runs over himself before he could get captured as well. When he attempts to board the lab, it has a strong force field that his Super Gekko Muscles can’t break through. He is zapped away and crashes into Catboy, and Romeo and Robot drive off.
Owlette informs Catboy and Gekko that they left her out again and that just because she’s invisible doesn’t mean she’s not part of the team. They apologize and respond that they’re not used to it because Gekko is the one with his Super Gekko Camouflage. Owlette soon gets the idea of using her invisibility to get the Invisibility Ray. The team finds Romeo at the school, but when Catboy and Gekko ask what they should do next, there’s no response.
Owlette sneaks past Robot and has Romeo come out. As he accuses him of knocking on his door, she grabs the Invisibility Ray, but they quickly find out. In the following struggle, they manage to get it away from her. As Romeo scolds Robot for not seeing her and letting her inside, Catboy and Gekko soon find out where she is and run out to help her, only to trip on her after she falls down.
Owlette realizes that she was also wrong in thinking that she didn’t need help because she’s invisible. The team agrees that whether invisible or not, they have to work together to defeat Romeo. Romeo soon comes out with the Invisibility Ray fully charged. Before he can use it on himself, they distract him using Owlette’s invisibility, Gekko’s Super Gekko Camouflage, and Catboy’s Super Cat Speed until he finds them with his heat vision goggles.
The team chases Romeo and Robot inside the school grounds and fights them in retrieving the Invisibility Ray. Eventually, Romeo and Robot crash into each other, and the team retrieves it. Owlette turns herself visible, then using a sign that Gekko grabs nearby, she turns the ray invisible. Thinking that it dropped somewhere, Romeo and Robot look for it until she reveals that she has it and gives it to Gekko so he can throw it in the moat. They are forced to retreat, and the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase.
