CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Luna's Cosmic Tantrum": SynopsisThe episode begins with Luna Girl training Motsuki on how to defeat the PJ Masks. Motsuki, however, wants to play. She plays around with a trash can that was meant to be part of her training. Tired of her not listening to her, Luna Girl tells her to go play somewhere else. The two separate, not wanting to do anything with each other anymore. Just then, Motsuki spots the PJ Masks returning to headquarters after completing their mission. Motsuki flies over and asks Owlette to be her new flying friend. She tells the team that she doesn’t work with Luna Girl anymore and wants to learn how to be good with her help. The team heads inside headquarters for an emergency meeting to decide whether or not she should work with them. Owlette agrees, but Catboy, Gekko, and PJ Robot decline, thinking that it’s too risky. The next day, Amaya is upset by this decision, especially since she always wanted someone on the team who can fly with her. She offers to take Motsuki under her wing and teach her to be good. Although reluctant, Connor and Greg allow her to do so. That night, Owlette informs Motsuki of the team’s agreement that she’ll be her new flying partner. Motsuki promises to be good, and the girls start off her training with some sky racing involving chasing villains. The rest of the team watches, thinking she’s off to a good start, albeit being wild, and head inside to be on the lookout for any other villains. After training, Motsuki tells Owlette that she wants to go to the Lunar Fortress. As Owlette prepares herself for space travel, Motsuki spots Luna Girl spying on them. Everyone watches as the two girls teleport to the moon. Luna Girl becomes furious and storms into HQ to watch them go into her fortress through the PJ Picture Player, then angrily demands her Luna Magnet to take her there. However, due to the nature of her tantrum, it becomes hostile, flies up to the structure, and encases it in a force field. Owlette soon finds out that Motsuki had used her; she only wanted to hang out with her to make Luna Girl jealous. She can’t leave the fortress, though, because the Luna Magnet is trapping them. Its hostility worsens when Luna Girl refuses to fix her mistake and decides to leave her and Motsuki trapped forever. The girls barely manage to take cover as the structure creates multiple traps and drains their powers. Owlette can’t contact the team for help since the magnet disabled the communications, so she convinces Motsuki to call Luna Girl for help and apologize, knowing that she needs her and that she cares. Meanwhile, Catboy and Gekko chase Luna Girl and try to convince her to help since she knows about the Lunar Fortress and that Motsuki’s her little sister. Motsuki’s signal appears calling for help. Although still angry at her, Luna Girl starts realizing how much trouble she’s in and how much she needs her. She finally decides to help, and the group launches to the moon. Owlette and Motsuki are relieved to hear that they’re here to save them, especially Luna Girl, which Motsuki is elated about. The attempt to rescue Owlette and Motsuki fails due to the Luna Magnet trapping them inside the fortress. Grabbing it is also a problem because of how much negative power it has from Luna Girl’s anger, making her understand why Motsuki left her. Catboy and Gekko suggest working with them and giving it positive energy instead. Initially hesitant, Luna Girl lists all the things she likes: being bad, the moon, Halloween, and her moths, including Motsuki. The group calmly approaches the Luna Magnet and grabs it. It powers down, causing the force field around the Lunar Fortress to disappear. Owlette and Motsuki are freed and reunite with their respective friends. Owlette apologizes to her friends about making the mistake of having Motsuki join the team as her PJ flying partner. Even though she really wanted one, she ultimately admits she’s not ready. Luna Girl apologizes to Motsuki for getting mad at her and placing her in danger. She tells her that she’s alright and accepts her as her little sister. Motsuki recharges her Luna Magnet from the fiasco earlier and gives her a kiss on the cheek as appreciation. With everyone now agreeing that Luna Girl and Motsuki make the perfect team-up, the PJ Masks return home. Since Motsuki fixed the Luna Magnet, Luna Girl allows her to use it as long as she has her permission, such as now. Motsuki uses it on Luna Girl and plays around with her. Moral/Lesson
