Synopsis

The episode begins with Newton Star showing the PJ Masks Stellar, a small, delicate, and powerful asteroid that can travel around the sun and back. It glows and flies away when Owlette touches it, so she offers to put it back, but he stops her and does it himself. The four return to Earth in HQ. Meanwhile, Romeo spies on them. Seeing this as an opportunity for a new plan, he has Robot fetch Stellar.

The next day, Newton calls Connor, Amaya, and Greg during their break that Stellar is gone; he checked around the moon and deep into space for it. That night, after nothing pops up on the PJ Picture Player, the team meets him in the Owl-Glider when it suddenly flies faster than usual. He notes that there are asteroid particles on it causing this. The four return to Owlette’s base room to see more particles spread out. Her monitor turns on to where she apparently took Stellar and spent some time with it. She bumps into the monitor, and the asteroid pops out and flies around.

Owlette tells Newton that while it may look like she took Stellar to steal its power, she would never do that. She doesn’t know how the asteroid particles got on her Owl-Glider or her room, and her vehicle can’t fly into space. The asteroid hits the monitor, causing the door to open, and it flies into the town, creating destruction. The four go after it while cleaning up the mess, although Newton states that he can do the former himself.

PJ Robot pulls up the security footage from last night. He informs Owlette that Robot snuck in HQ, spread the particles around her room and the Owl-Glider, and placed the asteroid in the monitor. However, Newton is too busy chasing it when she tries to tell him the truth. After he crashes into a trash can, Romeo and Robot meet up with him. Romeo offers to help him retrieve the asteroid if he stops the team from getting it first, falsely claiming that they pretend to be everyone’s friend and how Owlette stole some of his inventions doing so.

Despite the team’s warnings not to trust Romeo and that he was the one who stole Stellar, Newton reluctantly unleashes his Star Power on them. He, Romeo, and Robot fly off to the Flying Factory, followed by the asteroid, as Romeo traps them in a Ball Cage. He catches the asteroid, then shows Newton the chip he placed on to control it. He reveals to him that he framed Owlette so he can break his friendship with the PJ Masks, and he can lead him to his trap. The Fly Bots trap Newton and place him inside to analyze him and drain his asteroid power.

The alarm suddenly sounds; the computer shows the team flying to the factory. Happy that they’re coming to rescue him despite what he did, using whatever power he has left, Newton frees Stellar and throws it towards the computer to unlock the entrance so they can get in. He apologizes for not trusting them. The Fly Bots grab the cage to throw them out, but he has Stellar destroy it, allowing them to defeat the robots and free him. Stellar flies out of the factory, but Owlette saves it before it hits the school.

Stellar is safely returned to space, and with their friendship restored, Newton promises not to mistrust the PJ Masks again.
