It is the second part of the "Moonstruck" special. SummariesU.SThe PJ Masks must travel to the moon to keep Luna Girl from improving her Luna Magnet powers, but Gekko is afraid of space. FrenchWhile Bibou and Yoyo pursued Sorceline in her Lunar Fortress, they are trapped by giant crystals and can only count on Gluglu, who remained in their spaceship. CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Moonstruck: Lunar Fortress": SynopsisContinuing on from the previous episode, Catboy and Owlette unsuccessfully attempt breaking out of their crystal prisons as Luna Girl decorates her Lunar Fortress with a crystal throne. When Gekko’s voice comes through the team’s communicators, she suddenly becomes aware that Gekko is not with them. She uses her Luna Wand to track him down so she can capture him as well. The team tries contacting him to warn him, but the communication system is down. Fortunately, back in HQ, Gekko has a plan: he is going out to the moon himself to rescue Catboy and Owlette. Even though he is scared of going out to an unknown place that’s far away from home, he knows his friends need him and has to be strong. He suits up in his PJ Spacesuit, and with support and encouragement from PJ Robot, he drives off on his PJ Rover towards the Lunar Fortress. Meanwhile, Luna Girl hasn’t found Gekko yet, so she takes some time to do some more decorating around the fortress by adding a crystal statue and a couple of paintings of herself in addition to her crystal throne. However, it is still missing something else: royal subjects to adore her. Therefore, much to the PJ Masks’ shock, she is going back to the city to capture everyone and bring them to the moon so they’ll be forced to worship her forever. Gekko soon arrives at the fortress and enters through the balcony to find his friends on the ground floor with no sign of Luna Girl. Whispering to them that he’ll free them, he activates his Super Gekko Camouflage and climbs down to break the crystal. As soon as he begins doing so, though, an alarm is set off, grabbing Luna Girl’s attention. He runs off to hide, but the Luna Wand tracks him down and disables his camouflage power. He tries to escape, only for Luna Girl to successfully trap him as well by performing a special trick. Now that she has captured the PJ Masks, Luna Girl flies back to Earth to capture all of the town’s citizens to serve as her loyal subjects and admire the team on display as her greatest prize in her Lunar Fortress. Gekko is upset that his rescue plan didn’t work, and with the city unprotected, everyone is in danger of being collected and brought to the moon. Catboy and Owlette tell Gekko not to blame himself because all of their powers don’t work the same on the moon as they do on Earth, and the Luna Wand appears to know what all of their actions are. Additionally, Catboy has an idea; using his Super Cat Speed, he quickly spins around to generate enough energy and places his hands on the crystal, transferring the vibrations over to break it. Gekko uses his Super Gekko Muscles to push his and Owlette’s chambers together with Catboy’s to transfer the energy over. The crystals shatter, and the three kids are freed. PJ Robot contacts the team that the ship is fixed. They prepare to head back to the city to stop Luna Girl from collecting the townspeople. Unfortunately, their escape had set off another alarm, which forces the villainess back to the fortress. Keeping in mind that their powers don’t work well on the moon, the team splits up and switches their gravity boots off to avoid the Luna Wand’s lasers. Gekko hides behind the crystal statue for a brief moment until he is easily found. With all of his strength, Gekko manages to summon one of his Super Gekko Shields and deflects the wand’s rays toward Luna Girl, knocking her off her Luna Board, and knocking the weapon off her hands. Owlette catches it, but it starts behaving erratically, moving everywhere, and at one point, tries to return to Luna Girl. Catboy and Gekko grab the wand, the latter using his Super Gekko Muscles, and hold it down. Luna Girl tells the wand to destroy the team, only for it to instead take away all of her fortress decorations. The final beam is shot out, and it hits the weapon, transforming it back into the Luna Magnet with the harvest moon crystal out. The team returns to HQ with the crystal, knowing how dangerous it is, especially in Luna Girl’s possession. Now that the ship is fixed, they return to Earth. The villainess chases them with her Luna Magnet to get her crystal back. She is not fast enough to stop them from placing it in the PJ Vault so it can be safe. She accepts defeat and makes her getaway, claiming that she’ll get her moon crystal back as the team commends Gekko on his bravery. Although ecstatic to be back home, he states that he is beginning to like space and is glad to be a hero with his friends. With Luna Girl defeated and everyone safe, the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg meet up with Cameron at school. He was able to see the harvest moon last night through a telescope and witnessed some weird things happening. Greg comments that “he has no idea,” and the kids laugh as the episode ends. Moral/Lesson
