The narrator is an unknown male voice that is heard in each episode. He is known for saying his signature introduction sequence:
- "Night in the city, and a brave band of heroes is ready to face fiendish villains to stop them messing with your day."
- "Connor becomes: 'Catboy'!"
- "Amaya becomes: 'Owlette'!"
- "Greg becomes: 'Gekko'!"
- "The PJ Masks!"
An alternate version of his introduction sequence took place in "Catboy vs. Robo-Cat":
- "Night in the city, and a brave hero is ready to face fiendish villains to stop them messing with your day."
- "Connor becomes: "Catboy!"
- "The PJ Mask!"
There is also a French version of his introduction sequence:
- "La nuit tombe sur la ville, et nos trois héros vont affronter de terribles méchants. Ils sont prêts à tout pour les empêcher de nuire."
