Synopsis
The episode opens in the park at night, where a Ninjalino approaches the moat while carrying several blue cards. When he is startled by Octobella, he drops two of the cards and runs off. Octobella takes one of the dropped cards, reads it, and is immediately interested by what is written on it.
The following day, Greg, Amaya and Connor find the other card that the Ninjalino dropped. It turns out to be an invitation for Night Ninja’s School of Ninja Naughtiness, where villains can learn to be evil. The 3 friends realize this means trouble, and decide to investigate it that night.
When night falls, the kids transform into their superhero identities and gather outside the school, but they can’t enter as multiple Ninjalinos are standing guard and chase the heroes off with sticky splat. The PJs can only watch as Night Ninja declares his school open, and welcomes Octobella, Luna Girl, Romeo, and Robette as his students. Romeo and Luna don’t expect Night Ninja can actually teach them anything, but Night Ninja quickly gets them both to comply by promising he will give the best student a certain amazing secret power of badness.
Night Ninja begins his lessons, which involve an obstacle course and practicing with sticky splat. None of the students are quite good at it, though. Robette even shorts out and leaves. Owlette realizes the PJs' only chance of getting into the school is by pretending to be a villain. Gekko volunteers; he changes his costume color to red, has Owlette draw a fake mustache on his face as a disguise, and changes his name to Lizardo. With the invitation they found earlier, he is easily able to pose as a new villain and gain access to the school.
Once in class, Gekko quickly becomes the top student. When he hears Night Ninja plotting to deal with him and the others, Gekko realizes Night Ninja has a hidden agenda and decides to warn the other students. They don’t believe him and think he’s just trying to get the power Night Ninja promised. When Catboy and Owelette attack, Night Ninja orders his students to defend the school. The two heroes are outmatched and get captured. Gekko can’t help them as he has to stay in character.
As the Ninjalinos take the captured heroes away, Gekko once again tries to warn the students that Night Ninja is plotting against them. They instead rat him out to Night Ninja for supposedly telling lies. Night Ninja orders his Ninjalinos to take Gekko away for being a bad student, and instructs the rest to follow him to get their reward. It turns out Gekko was right, as Night Ninja captures the 3 villains with a cage. There never was a secret power; Night Ninja just wanted to get rid of the competition so he will be the only villain left in the city.
The villains realize they should have listened to Lizardo, and Luna sends her moth to warn him. Gekko frees the other villains, and they team up against Night Ninja. As the villains attack the Ninjalinos, Gekko frees Owlette and Catboy. The PJs also join the fight and soon Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos are forced to retreat. Gekko reveals that he was Lizardo, much to the dismay of Octobella, Luna Girl and Romeo. Disillusioned about the whole school, the 3 villains leave, while the PJs shout their victory cry.
