CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Owlette and the Giving Owl":
SynopsisThe episode starts off with Amaya showing Connor and Greg her Show-and-Tell item: her Giving Owl Statue that her aunt gave her last year. Although she was supposed to give it away to feel good, keeping it also gives her the same feeling. Greg mentions that it must be a Keeping Owl Statue instead. The class goes inside to find all the Show-and-Tell items that were placed in the classroom yesterday missing. That night, in the Owl-Glider, the PJ Masks locate the moths in the streets with a stuffed blue cat doll. Since Luna Girl must be the one responsible, the team follows the moths until they arrive at a mini moon replica known as the Luna Lair. Luna Girl steps out to take a look at the toy, disapproves of it, and complains that what the moths have found so far is not beautiful enough for her lair. The team follows her as she flies off with them to find such things herself. In a few moments, Owlette finds her with her Owl Eyes at her house. Knowing that her Giving Owl is in her room, she quickly flies over there. The team looks through the window to see Luna Girl with the Giving Owl, or moon sculpture as she calls it. They overhear her saying that since she has what she needs for her Luna Lair, she is going to return everything she’s stolen. This is great news, especially since Owlette can give the statue away and feel good. However, she refuses to do so, takes it from her, and returns to the Owl-Glider. Angry, Luna Girl decides to keep the stolen things and continue stealing more. The team follows Luna Girl and her moths to the museum, where they are stealing artwork and artifacts, but none of which, as she claims, are as beautiful as the Giving Owl. Catboy quickly closes all the doors to trap her. However, she gets on her Luna Board as it bumps into a couple of artifacts, which the team saves, and escapes with her moths through an open ceiling window. The team exits the building to see that they’ve only taken Owlette’s statue. She still refuses to give it away, though. The team returns to the Luna Lair and finds the stolen items piled outside. Catboy and Gekko plan to return them to their rightful owners, but Owlette doesn’t want to leave without her statue because since Luna Girl stole it, she believes she doesn’t deserve it. She attempts to enter the lair, but a force field is protecting it. Gekko instructs Catboy and Owlette to distract Luna Girl while he tries to force himself in. Owlette calls her, and the two argue about the statue and how she is supposed to give it away. Gekko sneaks around the force field until he is behind Luna Girl. He begins to break through with his Super Gekko Muscles when a little moon figure pops out and freezes him, and he is pulled inside. Luna Girl explains that this security system prevents anyone from entering her Luna Lair and taking away the statue. Owlette gets angry, but she notices a door inside the force field. After claiming that the statue is Luna Girl’s now, she whispers to Catboy to save it and Gekko by running down the fire escape, then upstairs through the door. When Catboy does as instructed, Luna Girl uses her Luna Magnet to bring the moon figure out to freeze him as well. With no options left, Owlette tells her she can keep the statue and asks her to let her friends go. She refuses to do the latter because she is a villain and plans to keep them as additional furniture for her Luna Lair. Owlette sadly walks away, but Catboy and Gekko warn her just in time before Luna Girl can also capture her. She avoids the lasers and blows her to the ground, causing her to drop her Luna Magnet and the statue. Owlette catches the statue while the Luna Magnet hits the ground and deactivates. The force field disappears, and Catboy and Gekko are freed. The team is about to leave when to their surprise, Luna Girl apologizes for stealing the statue, saying that she really loved it. After careful consideration, Owlette finally decides to give it to her, as someone did to her before, and she is now doing it as well. Luna Girl thanks her and promises to do the same, though crosses her fingers behind her back. She and her moths enter the Luna Lair, and it flies away. The team commends Owlette for her kind gesture, even though she expects Luna Girl to not give the Giving Owl Statue away. It makes her happy, and she realizes that giving it away does make her feel good. The PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, Amaya is giving away her things for Show-and-Tell. Because giving things away makes her feel so good, she can’t stop. Everyone laughs as she continues, ending the episode. Moral/Lesson
