Synopsis
The episode starts off with the class at the museum to see the ancient golden Egyptian Chariot. Amaya is chosen to be team leader for her group. However, the teacher announces that the field trip is cancelled because the chariot has disappeared, despite the building being locked up overnight. That night, after they agree to let Owlette be the leader this time, the PJ Masks return to see Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos with it.
Night Ninja is keeping the chariot as a best-suited vehicle for himself. He pushes his Ninjalinos to polish it, then quickly pull him around and fan him. During the ride, the Ninjalinos stop abruptly, flinging him into the bushes. Noting how they don’t like how he leads them, Owlette promises to be a better leader and let them have fun. After a brief discussion, the Ninjalinos join her, much to Night Ninja’s shock. He jumps away, stating that he’ll be back for the chariot.
Before the team can consider placing the vehicle inside and storing it somewhere safe, the Ninjalinos, dubbed “Owletteenies,” give Owlette a ride. The team warns that Night Ninja could be back any time, so she has them pull her into the museum, but demands them to stop when they bump into a couple of artifacts. She quickly apologizes for snapping. She then has the Ninjalinos practice a salute, though scolds them when they do it improperly. Most of them jump off afterwards, so the team splits up to find them, unaware that Night Ninja has returned.
After a few moments, Catboy and Gekko bring the Ninjalinos back from the national history and science rooms. Much to the Ninjalinos’ annoyance, Owlette prepares to have them practice her salute again, telling them that they need to do what she says. They respond by taking the chariot into the science room, where they sticky splat it to the space shuttle. She demands them to stop, ignoring Catboy’s advice to ask nicely, but they refuse, tired of doing what she says. Night Ninja soon arrives.
The Ninjalinos mock Owlette when she tries telling them to stop Night Ninja while he calls her out on her hypocrisy on being a great leader. The ninjas board the chariot and blast off. Owlette realizes he’s right as she wasn’t a better leader than he was and knows that this is all her fault for causing this trouble. Once the team catches up with the ninjas in the Owl-Glider, she apologizes for pushing them too far, saying that she’s not their leader, but someone who needs help.
The space shuttle suddenly malfunctions due to the heavy weight. Night Ninja orders his Ninjalinos to jump, although they become afraid to do so, despite his assurance that they’ll be fine since they’re ninjas. Another jolt causes one of the Ninjalinos to fall off. Owlette saves him in time, enticing the rest of them to jump into her aircraft. All of them hug her as the space shuttle crash-lands in the town with Night Ninja still on board, but otherwise unharmed.
Night Ninja apologizes to the Ninjalinos for being too harsh. They are initially dismissive, but after careful consideration, they return to him and tells him they love him. Night Ninja tell them he loves them too and gives them a big group hug until he gets embarrassed when Owlette calls him out on his soft side. He lets go of them and back flips away. The Ninjalinos give her one final salute, and the villains leave. The PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase.
The next day, the field trip is back on with the Egyptian chariot returned to its display. Despite Amaya being team leader of her friends again, she jokes about calling them “Amaya-teenies,” and they laugh together.
