CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Owlette the Winner":
SynopsisThe episode starts off with the kids playing basketball. Connor attempts to score to break the tie when the other team blocks the ball. Amaya grabs it and runs around the court with the team in pursuit. Despite being encouraged to pass the ball, she throws it backwards. It hits the backboard and goes through the hoop, just before the game ends. Amaya’s team wins, though Cameron has to call it out because his whistle has suddenly gone missing. As Amaya celebrates her win and brags about performing the shot again, albeit being lucky, Cameron asks everyone where his whistle is. There is no sign of it when Connor, Amaya, and Greg look around, although a moth flies by, meaning that Luna Girl must have taken it. That night, Owlette declares a competition to see who can track her down first. Catboy decides to play along; once the PJ Masks arrive at the toy shop, he hears her with his Cat Ears. Owlette proclaims herself to be the winner as she spotted her on top of the buildings with her Owl Eyes. Owlette declares another competition, refusing to call the first one a tie since she and Catboy both tracked Luna Girl down. The next one is a race to her location. Confident that they can win with their Super Cat Speed and Super Owl Wings, respectively, Catboy and Owlette race to the top of the buildings. The outcome is another tie, but Gekko interrupts the argument about who got there first, saying that they need to find out what Luna Girl is doing. Luna Girl is holding a competition between her moths to see which team can bring her the biggest toy with Cameron’s whistle. The purpose is to steal all the toys from the toy shop. To stop her from doing so, Catboy suggests taking the whistle away from her so the moths will get confused on which team is next to take the biggest toy. Owlette declares that whoever steals the whistle from her wins. This time, Gekko decides to participate, believing he can win with his Super Gekko Camouflage. Gekko camouflages himself and sneaks over to Luna Girl’s location, then reveals himself and crawls up behind her to tickle her, making her drop the whistle. He is about to retrieve it when Owlette, who had hid behind the pile of stolen toys, swoops in to do the same thing. The two crash into each other, though otherwise unharmed, and begin to argue over who got the whistle first. However, Luna Girl grabs it, and she and her moths fly away with the stolen toys to another location to continue stealing more toys. The new plan is for the team to stop the moths at the toy shop. Owlette makes this into another competition by seeing who can perform the best superhero moves to get to the location. Catboy and Gekko complain, but she takes this as them being afraid of losing. This causes them to pin her comment against each other. They accept the challenge, and the team advances towards the toy shop demonstrating their best superhero moves possible. During that time, Catboy and Gekko try to outperform each other by respectively speeding around the other and placing a car on the other’s pathway. After the competition ends, the team argues with each other about who had the best superhero moves. Owlette claims that she had the best ones and brags about how no one can defeat her. When she turns around, Catboy and Gekko have disappeared; she soon finds out that Luna Girl had captured them in her Luna Magnet. She realizes that this is all her fault because she made the team turn against each other. Fortunately, upon seeing the big stuffed dinosaur toy in the toy shop, she gets an idea. The moths continue delivering the toys to Luna Girl. Owlette flies in and directs their attention to the dinosaur toy in the toy shop, claiming that they’re not strong enough to bring it to her. Luna Girl directs them to work together to retrieve it. Instead, they bring two big stuffed animals. She bursts out in anger, scaring them enough to drop the toys on the toy pile. It results in it toppling over from the weight and falling on top of her. Catboy and Gekko are released from the Luna Beam when she drops her Luna Magnet, but Owlette grabs it and saves them before they fall in the canal. The boys thank Owlette for saving them and apologize for being mean to each other and getting carried away. She takes all the blame, though, because of her obsession with winning each time. She made everything into a competition, resulting in the team competing against each other. If they want to stop Luna Girl, this time, they’ll have to work together. Luna Girl eventually frees herself from the pile of toys. Before she can resume the moth competition, Catboy distracts her for Gekko to grab the whistle and throws it to Owlette. She throws the Luna Magnet to the moth teams, who begin fighting over which group should give it back to Luna Girl. She tells them to stop and declares that they all win. The moths stop fighting, and the group of villains leave with her vowing that she’ll win next time. Gekko jokes about who can carry the most toys back to the toy shop, and the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg return the whistle to Cameron. As the new basketball game begins, Amaya is offered to play, which she accepts as she throws the ball into the hoop. Moral/Lesson
