Synopsis
The episode begins with Connor, Amaya, and Greg in the city, conversing about how they were able to stop all of the nighttime villains in many different ways, every single time. This leads them to believe that they can stop anything. Just as they high-five each other, the wrecking ball suddenly disappears. They check the PJ Picture Player that night with no trace of it anywhere. They take the Cat-Car to look for any clues until the wrecking ball rolls right in front of them when they arrive at the museum.
Romeo arrives with Robot in his lab with the Pogo Dozer machinery installed and hits the wrecking ball. He is using it as a Giant Pinball and turning the whole city into the most destructive game of pinball ever with his new invention, the Pinball Machine, to finally defeat the PJ Masks. The team scoffs in response, knowing that they’ve heard this phrase enough times and are confident that they can handle anything that’s thrown at them. Romeo launches the wrecking ball, initiating the game.
Owlette attempts to slow the wrecking ball down using her Owl Wing Wind a couple of times with no effect, and is pushed out of the way. Romeo mocks the team, though this setback doesn’t faze them. Catboy jumps on top of the wrecking ball and rolls it towards the museum’s fountain. Gekko removes the statue from there for Catboy to place the equipment in its spot.
Romeo has more tricks up his sleeve, however. The pinball is launched from the fountain and rolls away. Additionally, there is another pinball, which is also launched. The team is not expecting this to happen, although they are still confident they can stop them. Gekko goes after one of the wrecking balls so he can stop it with his Super Gekko Muscles while Catboy and Owlette go after the other one.
Owlette flies Catboy over and sets him down on top of the wrecking ball in order for him to take control. Gekko goes in front of the other one and prepares to use his Super Strength, but quickly resorts to using his Super Lizard Grip when it comes in at a fast pace, although yielding ineffective results. Owlette saves him while heading over to help him out. Just as Catboy stops the wrecking ball at a stoplight, the other one moves it. Romeo drives in and guides them to what is considered the main goal of his pinball game - PJ Masks Headquarters. Worse, he has one more wrecking ball in store.
The team begins reconsidering what they said about handling anything and realizes that they might have underestimated Romeo. Giving up isn’t an option, so they head inside HQ to use its rocket function. Romeo has anticipated this, however, as he has Robot tie the structure down. Since the team can’t make their escape, they will have to outplay him. Therefore, they sink HQ down one room, activate its wings, and maximize its spin to knock the first pinball into the moat, all while freeing themselves from the rope trap.
The remaining two pinballs are launched. HQ’s maximum spin is unfortunately not available since it has been used on the first one, so instead, the team sinks HQ down, then launches to knock the second pinball away. Robot moves the lab out of its range when it heads towards the vehicle. Before the team can celebrate their victory, the last pinball is collected and fired through use of the pinball slingshot. They aim HQ’s rocket thrusters with maximum power at it, and it is deflected. They are victorious, and Romeo is outsmarted once again, much to his dismay.
As Romeo and Robot run away from the last pinball, which destroys Romeo’s Pinball Machine tablet, the PJ Masks safely land HQ and discuss tonight’s experience. They underestimated Romeo and his pinball plan, which almost resulted in their defeat. They can still handle anything, but they’ve learned now not to underestimate how big the problem is. With that, they celebrate their victory.
