The PJ Riders or Spirit Animals are a group of animals which represent the PJ Masks' animal routes in the PJ Masks television series. They are first seen as silhouettes in the Season 5 episode "Ninja Power Up" and officially made their debut in "Carly and Cartoka." They originally resided within the PJ Crystal Totem, but have been seen as spirits on occasions where the PJ Masks activated their powers. They assumed physical forms for the team to ride on by connecting with them and the PJ Pets in response to the destruction of the PJ vehicles by the Speedy Twins. Since then, they can be summoned by the PJ Masks placing their hands on their animal symbols located on their suits and reciting their own chant. They always ride them in their PJ Rider suits. As of "The PJ Riders Save the Day," the PJ Riders helped restore the vehicles, while presenting them with new designs, upgrades, and features. As a result, they are now used on separate occasions whenever the situation calls for them. Physical appearanceThe PJ Riders have saddles on their backs and protective armor with glowing stripes. Cat Stripe King resembles a huge blue feline, Eagle Owl resembles a huge red owl, and Power Lizard resembles a giant monitor lizard (physical form). Powers and abilitiesThey have the same powers as the PJ Masks do. As revealed in "Crash Track Trick," they can also transfer their energy to one another by nuzzling, making the PJ Rider receiving that energy more powerful and the others extremely exhausted until the power is given back to them. |
