SynopsisThe episode opens in the city at night, where An Yu opens the portal to Mystery Mountain and enters. Unbeknownst to her, Pharaoh Boy is watching everything from behind a garbage can and follows her in before the portal closes. An Yu feels at peace to be home, but her moment is interrupted by Pharaoh Boy, who claims to have Mystery Mountain's powers for himself. An Yu calls upon the mountain to help her, creating a strong wind that blows Pharaoh Boy through the portal and back into the city. Seeing how An Yu channels the mountain's power into her staff, Pharaoh decides to steal it. He manages to open the portal, like An Yu did earlier and enters it, only to get blown out again, leaving a mess in the alley. Pharaoh laughs maliciously, claiming he will soon have that power for himself. The following day, Connor and Amaya are late for school. They pass by the alley where the portal to Mystery Mountain is located and see the mess, and they decide to talk to An Yu about it. That night, the Power Heroes meet up in Power Q. An Yu elects to go on this mission on her own. Catboy is concerned and decides to go to join her later. Catboy flies to Earth in the Cat Racer, while An Yu goes to Earth on her own. She uses her staff's power to clean up the mess and then enters the Mountain, failing to notice that Pharaoh Boy is behind her. In Mystery Mountain, Pharaoh Boy shows up and uses his staff's powers to immobilize An Yu and then steals her staff. Pharaoh combines the two staffs, and now he has power over Mystery Mountain. Once no longer incapacitated, An Yu angrily charges at Pharaoh, but he uses the Mountain's powers to blow her out the portal, sending her back into the city. Catboy finds An Yu in the alley and asks her what happened, and she explains what Pharaoh did. She then reenters the portal, while Catboy sees a thunderstorm raging from the mountain. In the Pagoda, Pharaoh now has full control over the Mountain and is impressed with his new power. An Yu runs up the stairs and claims to the Mountain she is coming for it. Pharaoh orders the Mountain to stop her, and it causes the Splatcano to shoot Sticky Splat at her. An Yu manages to dodge the splats, but is shocked to see the Mountain is now against her. Catboy catches up with his super speed and is concerned about An Yu's behavior. As she continues up the stairs, Catboy gets hit by some Splat and rolls back down the stairs, but An Yu doesn't notice and keeps going. In the pagoda, Pharaoh uses his power over the Mountain and controls some clouds, much to his amusement. At that moment, An Yu arrives in the pagoda and angrily orders Pharaoh to give her staff back. But Pharaoh refuses and orders the Mountain to get rid of her, and it blows more Sticky Splat; this time she gets hit by the splats and tumbles down the stairs to the bottom, where Catboy is now. Catboy asks An Yu what is going on and she claims Pharaoh Boy went too far this time, but he means what is going on with her, as she is always so calm. An Yu claims she can't be calm after what Pharaoh did. Even when she is stuck in splat, she tries to go up the stairs again, but she falls and accidentally hits Catboy, pushing him toward the portal. Only then does An Yu realize she is not being herself. The Mountain, per Pharaoh's orders, sends out another ball of Sticky Splat, sending An Yu back into the city once again. The dragon girl laments over her loss of control, believing she is nothing without her staff. Catboy suggests she should talk with the Mountain calmly. An Yu tries to, but the Mountain just keeps raging more. Catboy tells her to stay calm and feel the Mountain, like she always does. An Yu calms down and talks to the Mountain again, and this time it listens and releases her and Catboy from the Splat. The clouds go away, much to Pharaoh's confusion. He orders the Mountain to obey him again, and it shoots a Sticky ball at the heroes. An Yu and Catboy are running up the stairs; An Yu is now calm. She apologizes to the Mountain for her anger and is able to stop the Sticky ball, splitting it up and sending the balls back at Pharaoh. Even without her staff, the Mountain's power is still within her. Pharaoh manages to dodge the Sticky balls, but is in shock the Mountain is not obeying him anymore. Then some flowers and bubbles come out of the pagoda as An Yu and Catboy arrive. Pharaoh sends the flowers and bubbles away, but the Mountain is no longer listening to him. An Yu is the one who understands the Mountain. Pharaoh claims she doesn't have her staff, but she responds that she doesn't need it; the Mountain listens to her. Pharaoh has lost all his control over the Mounatin, and the dragon statues use their tongues to attack him, An Yu retrieves her staff and separates it from Pharaoh's. The Mountain then shoots another Splat ball that pushes Pharaoh all the way down to the portal, sending him back to the city once more. An Yu realizes that Catboy was right; she just needed to stay calm. The two return to the city, where Pharaoh Boy retrieves his staff and tries to attack, but An Yu easily defeats him, forcing him to retreat. Triumphant once again, An Yu and Catboy shout their victory cry. Moral/Lesson
