"Pondweed Party" (also known as "Les Pyjamasques et les amies des plantes" in French) is the second segment of the 10th Season 5 episode of PJ Masks.

Orticia has found a new friend: Gorgonella. Together, they are going to grow fluorescent algae in the pond. But the Pyjamasques are watching the two girls who could cause damage by combining their powers.

Synopsis
Orticia is in the park admiring her new plants when Octobella emerges from the moat. She convinces Orticia that they have a common enemy in the PJ Masks, lying about how they refuse to be friends with her. She offers Orticia to be her friend, and even gives Orticia a piece of pondweed as a token of friendship, but it is clear she has a hidden agenda.
The following day, Connor, Amaya and Greg are having a picnic in the park when they notice the pondweed, now growing above water thanks to Orticia. They suspect Octobella to be up to something and decide to investigate that night. After gathering in HQ, they have PJ Robot analyze the new pondweed. It is quite different from the pondweed they know, and has probably different powers. With the PJ Picture Player, they track down Octobella, and see she's working with Orticia now. They head for the PJ Sub to confront the two villains.
Orticia and Octobella meanwhile are in the underwater cave, where Octobella convinces Orticia to help her grow a huge pondweed plant. The PJs make their way into the cave, and try to convince Orticia of Octobella's treacherous nature, but she doesn't believe them. Using her Control Crystal, Octobella has the pondweed plant use one of its petals to trap Gekko. Orticia is surprised the plant can do that, and asks if she can have the crystal, but Octobella refuses. Owlette attempts to free Gekko, only to get captured as well.
The petals begin to drain Gekko and Owlette's powers. In HQ, PJ Robot notices this and tries to come to their aid, but is stopped by Percival before he can enter the maintenance hole cover that leads to the cave. In the cave, Octobella unleashes another petal to try and capture Catboy, and with Orticia's help, she succeeds. Now that she has all the PJs, Octobella reveals her true colors and turns on Orticia. With the crystal, she traps Orticia in a crystal construct, and transforms the pondweed flower and its petals into crystal as well.
Percival warns Octobella that PJ Robot is coming, and she plots to capture him, too. The PJs console Orticia, who is still sour about Octobella's betrayal, and offer their help, even though they can't do more than cheer her on as Orticia attempts to wrestle control over the plant away from Octobella. After some struggle, Orticia prevails and the plant shrinks in size, while the crystal parts break. The PJs are freed and quickly deal with Octobella. They then leave along with Orticia, who takes the shrunken plant with her. In the city, PJ Robot is still fighting Percival when Octobella comes flying out of the maintenance hole cover, courtesy of Owlette. Along with Percival, she retreats into the moat, while the PJs assure PJ Robot that Orticia is on their side this time. Orticia offers the PJs the shrunken pondweed plant, and together they shout a variation of their victory cry to praise Orticia.
