SynopsisIn the city at night, Romeo shows Robot his newest invention, the Zappy Zapper, which he plans to use to defeat the Power Heroes and take over the world. He decides to practice before actually using it on the heroes and asks Robot to pretend to be a hero to help him. Robot does a hero act and then Romeo hits him with the zapper. It pushes Robot into a lamppost, bending it. Romeo thinks it was too easy, Robot acts like a hero again and then Romeo uses the zapper to levitate Robot towards another lightpost, hitting it and bending it as well. The following day, Connor and Greg are leaving the Comic Book Store when the see the mess in the city caused by Romeo's practice of using the Zappy Zapper. They immediately realize it's Romeo's doing and decide to find out what he is up to. That night, the Power Heroes meet up in Power Q. After seeing Romeo using his zapper on Robot while destroying things in the city, Gekko and An Yu take the Gekko-Mobile and head to the city. In the park, Romeo is still using his zapper, while Robot is still pretending to be a hero. At some point, Romeo blasts Robot so hard he flies away, so Romeo ends his practicing, claiming he is unbeatable. Robot falls on top of the Gekko-Mobile, then falls on the ground. Gekko and An Yu get out of the vehicle to check on Robot. The impact from the fall damages Robot's systems, making him believe he is actually a hero, calling himself "Robot the Hero", but he is still bugged. Romeo is now flying in his Sky Factory, and zaps a car next to Robot. Seeing Robot's new hero persona, Gekko decides to make him a real hero. In Power Q, PJ Robot is sweeping the floor and is in shock when he sees that Gekko and An Yu have brought Robot with them. Gekko asks PJ Robot to fix Robot but keep his new "hero" programming. PJ Robot manages to fix Robot; he is no longer damaged and still thinks he is a hero. Gekko is glad to be having Robot on their side, while An Yu is unsure about it. Gekko offers to teach Robot how to be a real hero, which he happily agrees. His training starts with Robot working out, then practicing hero poses and catchphrases, and Robot receives his own set of PJ Wings. Then the HQ's alarm goes off, and the computer shows that Romeo is using his zappy zapper on the city from the Sky Factory. So Gekko, An Yu and Robot leave to stop him. Gekko takes his PJ Wings to fly to the Factory, while Robot flies with his new wings and An Yu flies with her staff. Romeo is looking for Robot when he and the two heroes show up. Robot flies past Gekko and An Yu and confronts Romeo on his own. The Fly Bots try to attack him, but Robot blows a gust of wind from his wings, which scares the Fly Bots. Romeo then tries to zap Robot with his bigger zapper, but Robot redirects it, nearly blasting Gekko and An Yu, then he destroys it. Romeo is surprised with Robot's new hero persona and enters his factory. Robot opens the door and enters it too. Gekko and An Yu are in shock at how Robot keeps on going without them. In the factory's control room, Robot confronts Romeo, who orders the Fly Bots to attack. Robot easily pushes them away. Scared, Romeo hides behind his chair in front of the controls. Robot blasts fur balls from the PJ Wings, which hit the factory's controls. Romeo tries to escape, but Robot traps him in his own Sphero-Trap and leaves. Gekko and An Yu enter the factory and find Robot, who claims to have defeated Romeo. Because of the damaged controls, the Sky Factory can't stay airborne and is slowly falling. An Yu realizes they need Romeo to fix the factory, but Robot refuses to and locks her in the factory's safe, claiming that nothing can stop him. Gekko realizes he was wrong to try and change Robot and explains to him that heroes don’t just fight villains; they help others, even if it means working with the enemy. His words get through to Robot and he agrees to help as he takes off his PJ Wings. With the Factory still plummeting, Gekko and Robot head for the cockpit. Romeo apologizes to Robot, and the latter frees him from the sphero-trap and helps him get to the controls. Romeo tries to regain control of the factory, but it isn't working because it needs more power. Robot then gives the factory his PJ energy. Gekko protests, telling Robot that he will become a villain again, but Robot repeats his earlier words; that heroes work together to save the day. Finally, the factory is working again. Robot is okay but has lost his hero programming and is back to his original self, with no memory of what happened during his "hero" phase; he and Romeo warmly hug. Gekko frees An Yu from the safe, but they must leave quickly, as Romeo orders Robot to stop the heroes. But Robot is shown to be still glitchy, so Gekko and An Yu leave the factory while shouting their victory cry. Moral/Lesson
