Synopsis

The episode opens in the city at night. Night Ninja is alone, planning on what to do, when suddenly he hears Romeo's laughs coming from his Sky Factory. Inside it, Romeo shows Robot his newest invention, which appears to be just a television he calls "Romeovision". Robot brings a couch to sit on and takes some popcorn, believing they will be watching something interesting. Then Night Ninja enters the factory and sits on the couch, asking to put on a ninja dance battle show. Romeo claims the television is no ordinary TV, and when the ninja asks what kind of TV it is, the scientist takes out Romeovision's remote controller and points it at the former. By pressing a button, the remote teleports Night Ninja inside Romeovision, much to his and Robot's shock. When Romeo turns on the TV, Night Ninja finds himself in a pirate show. As Romeo changes channels, Night Ninja is transported to the respective channels the former changes to, to the latter's despair. Romeo delightfully plans to trap the PJ Masks inside Romeovision as well, and he already knows how to do it.

The following day, Connor, Amaya and Greg arrive in the sports section of the park, where they find many scrolls scattered all over. Each scroll contains a distress call from Night Ninja, saying he was captured by the "brilliant genius" Romeo. Even though Night Ninja is a villain, the heroes decide to help him anyway. That night, the Power Heroes meet up in Power Q. They find more scrolls over the city, and An Yu brings up one she found. Gekko wonders how Night Ninja is able to keep sending scrolls if he is captured. Catboy orders the heroes to keep looking for Romeo, while he will take his Cat Racer and search around the city. He easily finds the Flying Factory and, by such luck, the door is left open. Catboy uses the Cat Racer's catapult to make the car to jump to the factory, then he enters.

Romeo is still watching Romeovision with Robot and laughing, when Catboy appears in front of him and asks where Night Ninja is. He sees the latter inside Romeovision, much to his shock and confusion; Romeo uses this moment to transport Catboy inside of it as well. Catboy finds himself in a dancing show with Night Ninja. Romeo changes channels and the two trapped boys end up in a cooking show. While Night Ninja tries to escape with no avail, Catboy tries to contact his friends, but he can't do it inside the television. Meanwhile in Power Q, PJ Robot has lost contact with Catboy and can't find him anywhere, so Owlette leaves Power Q to look for her friend. Gekko is still looking at the scrolls and can see something is off, but can't put his finger on it. Back in the city, Owlette finds the Flying Factory and sees the Cat Racer parked there so she goes in. Inside, Romeo shows her Catboy inside Romeovision, much to her confusion, and uses the controller to traps her inside, too, where she finds herself in the same cooking show with Catboy and Night Ninja.

Back in Power Q, PJ Robot now can't locate Owlette, much to his and An Yu's worry. Gekko finally realizes that the scrolls with the distress calls were actually sent by Romeo to trap them. It says "the brilliant genius Romeo," something Night Ninja wouldn't ever write. An Yu also points out that the scrolls have "Property of Romeo" written on the back. So the two heroes leave for the Flying Factory, much to PJ Robot's worry. Back in the factory, Romeo is eating some spaghetti he made thanks to the cooking show's lessons. Gekko and An Yu appear to look for their friends, when Romeo shows them their friends and Night Ninja still inside the cooking show of Romeovision, which confuses them too, he traps them inside it as well. Gekko and An Yu find themselves in a movie that takes place on the moon. Romeo laughs and makes fun of the heroes. Catboy, Owlette and Night Nija are still trapped in the cooking show, where Night Ninja is trying to find a way out of it. He tries using the Sticky Splat, but it doesn't work. Then he uses his ninja abilities to teleport in smoke and disappears. After it, Catboy uses his super cat speed and escapes the cooking show. He returns a few seconds later and tells Owlette his super speed allows him to run through the channels of Romeovision; he takes her hand and leaves the cooking show with her.

Angered, Romeo changes the channels trying to find them, but finds Night Ninja back in the dancing show, much to the latter's annoyance, so he teleports himself. Romeo changes channels again and finds the ninja in the space movie with An Yu, who is holding a moon stone while Night Ninja hides behind some rocks. She claims that they must defeat moon goblins, and then Gekko appears pretending to be Romeo. The real Romeo finds this funny at first until the two start mocking him by calling him a lame inventor with fake inventions. This provokes him into teleporting himself and his controller inside Romeovision. He appears in the space movie and stops the heroes' acting, but when he is about to teleport himself back to the real world, Night Ninja comes out of his hiding place, steals the controller and teleports himself out, much to Romeo's shock.

Night Ninja returns to the real world, but falls on factory's computer and accidentally activates the self-destruct sequence. Instead of teleporting the heroes and Romeo back out, Night Ninja just runs off with the controller. Romeo orders Robot to turn it off, but the latter thinks it's part of the show and keeps watching. An Yu asks him if he can make another controller, and he responds that he could if he were back in the factory. Gekko says that the new controller just needs to work and not necessarily be perfect. Catboy and Owlette then enter the space movie thanks to the former's super speed, but it's not enough to get them out of Romeovision. Romeo says that, to make a new controller, he needs a power source, a gold coin, some metal and an antenna. The moonstone An Yu has is a power source, and Catboy knows where to find the other items.

Using his super speed, he leaves the space movie and goes to a car chase film. he takes an antenna off one of the cars and leaves before it falls into the river. He then goes to a movie that takes place in a museum, where there is a living pterodactyl, so he leaves immediately. He returns to the cooking show, where he takes a metal mixer, and then to the pirate show and takes a gold coin from a treasure chest. He returns to the space movie and gives all the items to Romeo. At this moment, the factory's computerized voice says there is one minute left until self-destruction. Romeo manages to make a new contoller and uses it to turn off Romeovision, teleporting him and the four heroes back into the real world. An Yu compliments Romeo for his work, and he admits the heroes helped him and he shouldn't have made fun of them. Then the factory is about to self-destruct in five seconds, but Romeo manages to get to the computer and deactivate the sequence at the literal last second. After this, Romeo joins Catboy, Owlette, Gekko and An Yu in their victory cry.
