"Sploshy Splash" (also known as "Bibou et l'ennemi de Zoé Zap" in French) is the second segment of the 16th Season 4 episode of PJ Masks. SummaryOwlette learns it's better to rely on your instincts after she's lured into an evil trap.[3] CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Sploshy Splash (episode)":
SynopsisThe episode starts with the class taking out their pictures from yesterday. Amaya is excited because the new Flossy Flash comic is coming out tomorrow. She asks Connor and Greg to read it with her, though they decline, Connor wanting to re-read one of Master Fang’s comics and Greg wanting to begin reading one of Melvin Muscles’s comics. The teacher is about to bring the markers out to the students when he notices that they have disappeared. That night, the PJ Picture Player shows lots of scattered drawings around the town. Acting as Master Fang and Melvin Muscles, respectively, Catboy and Gekko become determined to get the markers back and take the Cat-Car. Owlette inquires about joining them as Flossy Flash, though they ignore her, so she decides to take the Owl-Glider instead. The PJ Masks arrive where the drawings are located. As Catboy and Gekko investigate, Owlette notices the new Flossy Flash comic left on the bench in the park. She is about to open it when Octobella takes it from her, claiming that it is hers. She explains that she got the comic in advance since she is a super Flossy Flash fan. Owlette declares that she is also her super fan as she loved her since the beginning of her adventures. Taking note of this, Octobella asks to read the comic with her. Owlette thinks about it, until she notices that Catboy and Gekko have located more drawings. The boys collect the pictures as they perform their comic book heroes’ moves. When Owlette tries to perform Flossy Flash’s moves, they don’t acknowledge it. She suddenly hears Octobella cheer for and compliment Flossy Flash as she reads the comic. Owlette is tempted to come join her, especially when she claims that there is a new enemy for Flossy Flash to defeat, but she resists, knowing that she is still on a mission and runs off, hearing that there are some more pictures lying around. Heading downtown, the PJ Masks spot a shadow moving in the distance. They chase the unknown source to the top of the buildings, but it disappears before they could catch it. They are able to find the markers, though. Catboy and Gekko compliment each other on a job well done as their comic book heroes, and they head down, still not acknowledging Owlette or her roleplaying as Flossy Flash. They don’t notice that Percival was the one who stole the markers. Owlette heads down as the boys return the markers to the school, feeling left out. She hears Octobella again, and despite the ongoing mission, she asks what’s going on in the comic. The villainess explains that Flossy Flash is captured by a new enemy named Sploshy Splash. She offers Owlette to read it, especially when she noticed that the rest of the team doesn’t care throughout the mission, and she finally gives in to the temptation. Owlette reads the comic, but once she turns to the last page, she encounters a large ink blot. She suddenly gets sucked in - and is teleported into Octobella’s lair. Octobella follows Owlette and whirlpools her into the cellar. She reveals that the blot in the comic was her magic octopus ink used to create a portal. Now that she has her, she is able to keep her forever as a team, which will result in breaking up the PJ Masks. Also, to Percival’s dismay, she will keep her as her new best friend who likes comics as much as she does. Catboy and Gekko finish putting back the markers in the school. Noticing that Owlette has not caught up with them, they head back into the town to look for her. They only find the new Flossy Flash comic left on the street. They take a look at it, captivated by her new adventure, but they reach the last page where the ink portal is. Gekko gets sucked in, and he lands in Octobella’s lair, where Owlette is surprised to see that the boys have read the comic, initially thinking that they did not like Flossy Flash. Octobella attempts to capture Gekko as well, but he escapes and returns to HQ as Catboy shows PJ Robot what happened. Catboy is amazed at the sudden possibilities that come with a Flossy Flash comic. He compliments her, but this leads to the realization - he and Gekko have been saying that Master Fang and Melvin Muscles are cool, but they never acknowledged to Owlette that Flossy Flash is cool as well. They become determined to save Owlette, but this time by the power of Flossy Flash. Gekko goes into the moat, and Catboy and PJ Robot go downtown with the comic. By Gekko’s signal, he frees Owlette from the cellar, while Catboy runs around Octobella to stop her from doing anything. Owlette blows her into the portal, and PJ Robot quickly leaves with the comic as soon as she reaches the town. As the PJ Masks reunite, Catboy and Gekko apologize about earlier and assures Owlette that they know Flossy Flashy is cool. She forgives them, and with them, they further confirm that their own team is definitely cooler. Octobella soon catches up with the team, where she reveals that she actually stole the new Flossy Flash comic from the comic book store. She heads back into the moat, vowing to break up the PJ Masks someday, while the team plans to return the comic after it’s cleaned up. Octobella returns to her lair, where Percival shows her his newly created drawing of the two together. She accepts him as her best friend, and the two happily play together. Moral/Lesson
