"Super-Sized Gekko" (also known as "Maxi Gluglu" in French) is the first segment of the 25th Season 1 episode of PJ Masks.
Luna Girl attempts to steal all the parade floats.
The following characters appeared in the episode "Super-Sized Gekko":
The episode starts off with Connor and Amaya contacting Greg, who is trying to find his walkie-talkie. He eventually finds it with Lionel’s help and returns the call. He explains that he’s cleaning his room if he wants to watch the carnival parade tomorrow and see his favorite float, the lizard one. While he does so, Connor and Amaya are going to HQ tonight in case any villains try to ruin the parade.
Greg decides to come and clean his room later. He wants to look for his camera at HQ since he can’t find it there. Later, upon arrival, the PJ Masks find his base room a mess. In the clutter are Romeo’s Sniff-O-Whiff and the Small-Sizer, which he was supposed to safely put away. Catboy and Owlette tell him that they’ll track any trouble in the parade grounds as he cleans up and warn him not to play with the inventions.
Gekko starts cleaning when he notices the Small-Sizer. Imitating Romeo, he shrinks his belongings so his room will look clean. As he presses another button to see what it does, he steps on the shrunken cactus and falls, causing him to accidentally zap himself. Once he stands up and hits his head on the ceiling, he realizes that he turned the invention into a Super-Sizer. He meets up with Catboy and Owlette, tells them what happened, and plans to use his size to stop anyone from ruining the parade as Giant Gekko.
The PJ Picture Player suddenly spots Luna Girl and her moths at the parade grounds. She plans to wake up the town using the floats for her own parade and become the parade queen. Catboy and Owlette take the Cat-Car with Gekko following, though he shortly grabs the vehicle and throws it over to the location so it can get there instantly. Luna Girl and her moths notice the team as Catboy and Owlette collapse after they roughly land and Gekko jumps in and introduces himself.
The moths attempt to capture Gekko, but he frightens them away, so they try to help Luna Girl bring the floats into town. Before Catboy can explain how to stop them, Gekko takes out the Super-Sizer to enlarge the garbage bin and thus trap them with it. However, when he fires the invention, it enlarges a moth. Owlette tells him to shrink it, although he focuses on the bin first. Instead, another zap enlarges the cans inside. They pop out and land around the team.
After seeing these occurrences, Luna Girl jumps on the large moth and flies in to take the Super-Sizer away from Gekko. She enlarges the rest of her moths so they’ll be able to carry the floats into the city, then changes the settings to zap him back to normal. Gekko proclaims to get the invention back and make him big again, but Catboy protests, stating that the team has to fix the giant moth mess he made.
Just as the now-giant moths pick up the floats, Owlette has them chase her while Catboy distracts Luna Girl long enough for Gekko to quickly grab the Super-Sizer from her. Catboy keeps an eye on her, and Gekko prepares to fire the invention once Owlette flies by with the moths until he notices a pigeon. He makes it bigger in the hopes of improving the plan, only for it to run around with him on board. Owlette is forced to save him when he gets thrown off, leaving Luna Girl and her moths to take the floats into town.
In the ensuing chaos, Gekko had dropped the Super-Sizer again, and it’s now with the pigeon. He apologizes for not cleaning up his messes when he made them. Suddenly, he gets an idea; imitating a bird, he leads the pigeon away, giving Catboy and Owlette the chance to grab the invention and catch up with Luna Girl and her moths. Once Gekko and the pigeon arrive at the cans, he catches one that it hits and throws it away, and it retrieves it, thinking that it’s a game. This gives him another idea.
Gekko regroups with Catboy and Owlette after they finish shrinking the moths. As a last resort, Luna Girl grabs the lizard float and calls for her Luna Board. When it comes, two large cans are tied to it, which attracts the pigeon. It chases her until she releases the float for Gekko to catch and flies off with the cans. Gekko whistles for it to come back, zaps it back to normal, and pets it before it flies off. He then declares to place the Super-Sizer back in HQ and clean the rest of his mess himself, and the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase.
The next day, Greg finishes cleaning up his room just as Connor and Amaya enter, which means he can now go to the parade. His closet starts rumbling, opens up, and most of his things fall out. Lionel also falls trying to keep it closed and pops up with the camera. Greg points it out, and the kids laugh, ending the episode.
- You should clean up after your mess.
- Don't procrastinate.
- This episode, along with "Take to the Skies, Owlette," is the final episode to air in 2016.
- Jonah Stroh debuts as a writer for the series.
- Romeo invents a new machine called the "Small-Sizer." The Small-Sizer is almost the same as the Shrinker, but the Small-Sizer is smaller and easier to use than the Shrinker.
- In one scene, Gekko makes a reference to Neil Armstrong's famous words "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
- The Small-Sizer also has a reverse button that can make things super-sized.
- Luna Girl uses one of Romeo's inventions for the first time (for her personal gain).
- This is the first time Gekko becomes gigantic.
- This is the first time the PJ Masks transport into Gekko's HQ room instead of Catboy's HQ room upon arrival at headquarters.
- Romeo's Sniff-O-Whiff from "Catboy and the Pogo Dozer" is seen in this episode.
- It's unknown how did Gekko go to Catboy's HQ room when he is a giant, as the only way to enter one HQ room to another is by the lifts, where Gekko cannot enter because it is too small for him.
