Synopsis
This episode starts with the PJ Masks playing catch behind HQ. After a while, they rest as Catboy mentions that it's good to keep training when there aren't any villains around. Just then, Romeo snatches their ball while flying on his jetpack, and the PJs run after him. Romeo mocks Catboy as the latter falls into the garbage. He throws the ball back at them, makes fun of Catboy’s Cat Speed, and flies away, leaving an angered Catboy.
At school, the Teacher hands out the kids' graded math worksheets, most of which had passing marks, albeit a couple. Connor thinks about the night before and talks to Amaya and Greg about his Super Cat Speed not being able to stop Romeo. He decides to take it to the next level that night.
In HQ, Catboy tells PJ Robot to search on the PJ Picture Player for a route around the city to train his Cat Speed. After finding a route, Catboy assigns Gekko to keep time and Owlette to be the pacemaker.
The training starts, and Romeo watches nearby in the Flying Factory. He dumps garbage where Catboy is running to spoil the training. Luckily, Catboy dodges it all and goes even faster. However, he goes so fast that he starts to drain the PJ Crystal's power! Gekko tries telling him to stop, but he couldn’t hear. Eventually, all the PJ Crystal's power drains, and Owlette and Gekko lose their powers and transform back into their daytime selves. Romeo gets an idea and has Robot build a ramp. Robot hides and waits in the city until Catboy unknowingly runs up the ramp and lands in a cage inside the factory. The rest of the PJ Masks are back inside HQ thinking of how to rescue Catboy. They decide to take the risk of using what little power is left in the Owl-Glider. Romeo sees them getting onboard the factory and rolls down laughing because of the fact they had no powers. Meanwhile, Catboy gets out of the cage with his Cat Stripes while Romeo and Robot are still laughing. He goes outside to help Amaya and Greg and uses his Super Super Cat Speed. The Fly Bots get knocked out, but Robot runs after the PJs with a cage! Catboy urges his friends to follow him, but Robot traps them inside the cage. Catboy flies back to HQ in the Owl-Glider and makes his decision on what to do: he would drain the power out of himself and put it into the Crystal so his friends could get the power they needed. PJ Robot warns him that he might lose his powers forever. To this, Catboy replies he would rather lose his powers than his friends. Back at the Sky Factory, Amaya and Greg are cleaning the balcony floor while Romeo lounges back in a chair and sips a drink. However, in HQ, Catboy starts draining all his power to the Crystal. After some effort, Amaya and Greg get their powers back, while Catboy is left unharmed. Gekko uses his Lizard Grip to cling onto the Fly Bots and spin them around. Then Owlette uses her Wing Wind to blow them, Romeo, and Robot back inside the factory. Catboy brings back the Owl-Glider, and Owlette and Gekko jump in, Catboy saying "so long" to Romeo. Romeo cries he would get them next time as always and kicks his chair.
They land the Owl-Glider in front of HQ. Owlette and Gekko are shocked Catboy risked losing his powers forever, but Catboy apologizes for draining their powers and states that being the best friend he can be is more important than extra Cat Speed. The PJ Masks say their victory chant in response, ending the episode.
