Synopsis
The episode opens on Mystery Mountain, where Teeny Weeny states his intentions to An Yu to become a dragon master and help protect the mountain. To prove himself, he transforms into the Splat Monster and gives a demonstration of his powers. An Yu is impressed, but states Teeny needs the power of a dragon to be a true dragon master. They enter the pagoda, but find Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos waiting for them there. They capture An Yu and use the Ninja Travel Scroll to send Teeny Weeny away. Night Ninja takes An Yu's staff and declares himself the king of Mystery Mountain. Teeny meanwhile has ended up back in the city, and the portal to Mystery Mountain closes before he can go back.
The next day, Greg, Connor and Amaya are playing soccer when they receive a message from Teeny Weeny that he needs their help. That night, the 3 transform into their superhero alter-egos and take the Cat-Car to the still closed portal, where they find Teeny, who still has no luck reopening the portal. He explains how Night Ninja captured An Yu and sealed the portal to the mountain. In the pagoda, Night Ninja reveals to his Ninjalinos how he now has all of An Yu's powers, and thus full control over the mountain. He also used a spell to render An Yu mute so she can't fight back.
By unleashing all their powers on the portal, the PJs and Teeny manage to force it open. They are spotted however by a Ninjalino, who warns Night Ninja. Night Ninja unleashes Mystery Mountain's splat geysers on the heroes. Teeny angrily uses his own splat to seal the geysers, but also accidentally splats the PJs, who point out that this kind of behavior is unfit for a dragon master. When they reach the pagoda, Teeny immediately attacks Night Ninja, despite the PJs' warning that his anger won't get him anywhere. Night Ninja uses the various traps in the pagoda to keep Teeny away from him, which angers Teeny even further. He angrily shoots his splat projectiles everywhere. Night Ninja combines these projectiles into a huge splat ball with which he forcefully sends the PJs out of the pagoda and down the mountain. He then takes away Teeny's splat monster powers, reducing Teeny back to his original form, and kicks him out of the pagoda too.
Defeated, Teeny reunites with the PJs, who are still stuck to the splat ball. They tell him how dragons are supposed to be wise, and that if An Yu wants Teeny to be a dragon master, he should fight using wisdom rather than anger. Teeny finally calms down and through meditation manages to mentally lift the splat ball up the mountain and to the pagoda, where the ball falls apart and the PJs are freed. While the PJs handle the Ninjalnos, Teeny enters the pagoda again and makes his way to the dragon statue. The dragon gives Teeny his powers back, restoring him to his Splat Monster form. He scares off the Ninjalinos and then takes on Night Ninja, who finds himself outmatched by the newly empowered Splat Monster. While Teeny and Night Ninja fight, Gekko sneaks into the pagoda and frees An Yu. As An Yu reclaims her staff, Teeny sends Night Ninja away from Mystery Mountain on a giant splat ball. An Yu declares Teeny a true dragon master as they shout out their victory phrase.
