Synopsis
The episode opens in the museum, where Pharaoh Boy is admiring his latest weapon; a cat statue called the Catastrophe Stone, which he claims will allow him to both see through the eyes of, and take control of cats. When Alley Cat enters the museum, Pharaoh Boy uses the stone on him and makes him his servant. Together they leave the museum, where they spot Bastet and Catboy; both are chatting about how much they know and love about cats. Alley Cat draws their attention, and Catboy notices something is off with him, which Bastet claims could be mysterious cat magic. However, when Catboy tells her how he and Alley Cat have a connection, Bastet quickly charms the small feline into coming with her, making the former jealous.
The following day, Connor is in the library trying to find out what could be wrong with Alley Cat. He is still annoyed at Bastet for trying to one-up him, and wants to prove that Alley Cat is his buddy. That night, after the Power Heroes meet up in Power Q, Catboy announces his intent to head back to Earth to find Alley Cat. But to his dismay, Bastet insists on coming along. As they head for the museum in the Cat-Car, Bastet tells Catboy about some things she learned from some ancient Egyptian tablets she found in the library, but the latter is not interested. When they get to the museum, the two cat heroes split up to search the place. When they're gone, Pharaoh Boy orders Alley Cat to enter the Cat-Car.
Just as Pharaoh Boy had hoped, Catboy returns to Power Q after he fails to find Alley Cat, and thus unknowingly brings Alley Cat with him. Pharaoh Boy uses his Staff of Ra to shrink the Sphinx Statue so he can ride it into space and follow Catboy. Catboy arrives in HQ, where only PJ Robot is still around as the other heroes are out on their own missions. Alley Cat then reveals himself, and Catboy is glad to see him as he thinks he came to him for help. Bastet calls Catboy because she found another tablet that warns about the Catastrophe Stone, but Catboy ignores her as he wants to help Alley Cat himself.
As Pharaoh Boy approaches Power Q, he forces Alley Cat to switch off the artificial gravity and open the airlock. Catboy and PJ Robot are sucked out of the door when it opens, with Catboy narrowly managing to put on his spacesuit. Outside, they see Pharaoh Boy fly past them. Pharaoh Boy then enters HQ, when he notices the Cat-Car is about to be sucked into space too. Fearing it will hit him if that happens, he hastily orders Alley Cat to close the door again, locking him, Catboy and PJ Robot out. Pharaoh Boy collides with the closed door, is knocked off the Sphinx Statue, and loses both his staff and the Catastrophe Stone.
HQ's defense systems activate and the space station begins to shoot furballs in all directions. Catboy contacts Bastet to warn her about what is going on. He also confesses that Alley Cat is in HQ, and that he was jealous of Bastet. Bastet deduces that Pharaoh Boy is using the Catastrophe Stone to control Alley Cat, which Catboy confirms. Pharaoh Boy meanwhile manages to get back his staff and the sphinx statue, and returns to Earth. At Bastet's suggestion, Catboy uses his cat ears to find the Catastrophe Stone. She then instructs him how to use the stone, so Catboy can order Alley Cat to open the door and stop the furball cannons.
With everything back to normal, Catboy takes Alley Cat back to Earth. He gives the Catastrophe Stone to Bastet so she can dispose of it. The two heroes shout their victory cry, with Alley Cat joining in.
