"The Labours of Armadylan" (also known as "Tatouro'Tom et le vase brisé" in French) is the first segment of the 18th Season 4 episode of PJ Masks. SummaryArmadylan tries to fix a museum artifact without telling the PJ Masks.[2] CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "The Labours of Armadylan":
SynopsisThe episode begins with Armadylan on night patrol. He sees the museum door open and goes inside to check it out and admires some artifacts, including a huge vase. As he turns around to leave, the vase tips over its podium and shatters. Believing he broke it, he tries fixing it unsuccessfully, then puts the pieces in a box and runs out of the building. He doesn’t see a rope tied to the bottom of the podium, which was pulled by a couple of Ninjalinos to make him think he broke it. Armadylan is about to find the PJ Masks to help him when he runs into Night Ninja, who is disguised as an old ninja who wants to see the artifacts in the museum, and sees the broken vase. Armadylan explains what happened, to which Night Ninja responds was a clumsy accident. He claims the vase will be fixed if he does a labor of strength that involves a boulder called The Rock of Mountain Power (disguised under the name “Rock of Rightful Repair”) located on Mystery Mountain. The next day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg walk to the building to see Armadylan’s footprints, thinking that he must be stopping a nighttime villain. When they get to HQ that night, the PJ Picture Player shows him heading to the mountain. The team flies over to the portal as Armadylan carries the broken vase to the middle of the bamboo forest, where Night Ninja and the ancient rock are located. He claims that the vase will be fixed if the rock is carried up the mountain in one night. The PJ Masks meet up with Armadylan, who quickly hides the vase behind him, and ask what he is doing. Night Ninja jumps away before they appear, and by command, the Ninjalinos jump out as a distraction. The team goes after the ninjas while Armadylan looks after the mountain. As soon as they leave, Night Ninja returns and persuades Armadylan that he needs to carry the rock by himself since he was the one who broke the vase. Armadylan carries the rock and begins his trek up the mountain as it gains a bit of power. When he reaches the halfway point, he stops for a brief moment because of its weight wearing him down. He starts to complain that it’s impossible upon hearing that he’s halfway up to the top. Night Ninja notes that the rock has gained half of its power, so Armadylan continues carrying it the rest of the way. Meanwhile, the PJ Masks pursue the Ninjalinos in town and eventually catch them at the top of the buildings. They demand them to explain what Night Ninja is up to, to which they mention last night’s previous events. Owlette asks PJ Robot to bring up the security footage of what really happened that night. He rewinds the footage to reveal that it was all a set-up: along with deliberately causing the vase to fall, the ninjas were also responsible for creating the fake object. Armadylan reaches the summit where the rock gains full power. Just as he believes he fixed the vase, Night Ninja discards the object, pushes him away from the rock, and reveals himself. He planned to use Armadylan to bring the Rock of Mountain Power up the mountain so its destructive power will be released. With it, Night Ninja will be able to take over everything and become the greatest ninja ever. He takes control of the rock and attacks Armadylan and An Yu, who is meditating outside the pagoda. Armadylan exits the pagoda gates when he sees the PJ Masks arrive. He knows he should have told them about the broken vase, but didn’t have the heart to do so because he felt so bad about what he did. They assure him that it was an accident, and, much to his anger, inform him that the vase was a fake artifact. An Yu soon collapses from trying to fend off Night Ninja; the Rock of Mountain Power is too powerful. Armadylan is determined to fix what he caused, and the heroes face Night Ninja together. Night Ninja chases the group as they split off in different directions. They lead him to a specific spot where Armadylan knocks him off with his Thunder Thump, causing the rock to roll down the mountain. Night Ninja chases it, then runs away to avoid being crushed when it is briefly sent flying after hitting a couple of rocks. The Rock of Mountain Power reaches the bottom, and the heroes are victorious. Moral/Lesson
