Synopsis
Jayden Houston is in the city again for another concert, at which all his fans are encouraged to wear masks. There is even a contest at which the kid with the best mask gets to meet Jayden on stage. Connor is eager to win, so the rest of the day he, Greg and Amaya try to make the perfect mask.
As night falls, the 3 friends notice a group of masked kids outside when they should be at home. Curious, they transform into the PJ Masks to investigate. While flying over the city with the Owl-Glider, they notice more masked kids wandering the streets. They all seem to be in some sort of trance, and don’t respond to the PJs. With their powers and the Owl-Glider, the PJs begin to round up the masked kids and return them to their homes. Then Catboy spots Jayden’s golden mic and a backstage pass lying in the streets. He concludes that Jayden must be in the city wearing a mask, and rushes off to meet him. He runs to The Park, where most of the masked kids have gathered at the stage for the concert. Meanwhile, Owlette and Gekko find some more kids operating a machine that puts a microchip in any mask that is inserted into it. As they get closer to take a look at the mask, they are grabbed from behind by Robot.
In the park, Catboy thinks he sees Jayden, but it turns out to be Romeo. He made the Mind Controlling Masks and is now taking control of all the children in the city. Catboy is captured by two of the masked kids, and Robot shows up with the captured Owlette and Gekko. Romeo uses two mind control chips to get Gekko and Owlette under his control. He then proceeds to the next phase of his plan; use an antenna to send his mind control sign all over the world. When Romeo demands that the masked kids applaud for him, Catboy is able to escape and plans a counter move. He distracts Romeo, and takes the chips from Owlette and Gekko. With their help, Catboy steals Romeo’s remote and uses it to make the masked kids return to their homes. Romeo tries to make Catboy forget about his mission again by claiming that the real Jayden is nearby (it’s actually Robot with a mask), but Catboy knows where his priorities should be. Once the kids are all gone, Gekko wrecks the antenna. Enraged, Romeo flees the scene, while the PJs shout their victory cry.
The next day, Connor has no mask for the concert, but he doesn’t care about the contest anymore; what matters is they saved the concert. The PJs enter the park, ready for a party.
