Synopsis
Connor, Greg and Amaya are still sulking over the loss of all their PJ vehicles at the hands of the Speedy Twins. Greg tries to cheer up his teammates by pointing out they still have their regular bicycles, but it turns out that they too have been wrecked and their wheels stolen. The trio vows to get back at Carly and Cartoka that night with help of their new PJ Riders.
That night, the three transform and meet up in HQ, and summon their PJ Riders. However, the animals aren't interested in following their orders and leave HQ without them. They seem to only listen to PJ Robot. Unbeknownst to the PJs, they are being watched by the Speedy Twins, who take an interest in the little robot buddy.
Back in HQ, the PJs notice on the PJ Picture Player that Carly and Cartoka are stealing car parts again. They make another attempt to ride the PJ Riders so they can chase after the twins, but they still won't cooperate and keep trying to return to HQ. Fed up with their disobedience, the PJs force the Riders back inside their costumes and decide to continue on foot. They notice the twins are heading for HQ, but without vehicles or animals they are no match for the duo, who easily beat them to HQ and abduct PJ Robot.
When the PJs finally reach HQ, they notice to their dismay that the twins are now using PJ Robot as a battery for the Flashcar. And before the PJs can stop them, they escape back to Zoomzania. The PJs realize that the Riders must have sensed that PJ Robot was in danger, and that's why they wanted to go back to HQ. They also acknowledge that they're not just rides; they're friends. The PJs bring the Riders back out to apologize for not listening to them and ask for their help in rescuing their robot buddy. The animals accept their apology and finally allow the heroes to ride them, bestowing them new costumes in the process.
Using their speed, Catboy and Cat Stripe King open a portal to Zoomzania, with Owlette, Gekko, Power Lizard and Eagle Owl following close behind. Once there, they pursue the Flashcar across the race tracks. The first few attempts to stop the car fails, but after the PJs allow the Riders to do things their way, they manage to knock the Flashcar off the tracks and into the sand. The PJs reclaim PJ Robot, but the twins manage to escape before the heroes can reclaim their stolen vehicle parts. The heroes return to Earth and decide they'll get them back some other night and praise the Riders for heroic actions. They then shout their victory cry.
