SummaryThe PJ Riders get jealous when the PJs plan to restore their vehicles.[3] CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "The PJ Riders Save the Day": SynopsisThe episode begins with the PJ Masks and the PJ Riders heading back to HQ until the Speedy Twins stop by and taunt them with the stolen PJ vehicle parts installed on their Flashcar before racing off. The team is determined to get the parts back and while they are excited to be able to use their vehicles again, the PJ Riders are not as thrilled; as they think that the heroes will no longer need them. The next day, after Connor shows Amaya and Greg what the villains have done to the wheels of his toy car, Amaya proposes an idea on how they can retrieve their vehicle parts. Since they've failed to catch the twins multiple times, this time, they're going to let themselves be caught by setting up a trap using a decoy she made out of a cardboard box and some round metal objects, considering the fact the twins are out for anything on wheels. Therefore, that night, the PJ Masks transform and arrive at HQ to carry out Owlette's plan. However, as they're about to head out, the PJ Riders come out and confront them, feeling jealous. The PJs reassure them that they're always special and that just because they’re getting back their vehicles, does not mean they're replacing them. The Riders aren’t entirely convinced but let themselves be recalled back to their respective team members’ suits as they head into town with the cardboard car. The team stations themselves in the middle of the streets so when the twins pick them up, they can get the Flashcar. Sure enough, the Speedy Twins appear with the Gigantogarage and take the bait. As they prepare to collect the fake vehicle, the Riders try to summon themselves again. The heroes manage to hold them back, but the glow ends up blowing their cover, prompting Cartoka to shake Catboy and Owlette out upon seeing this. Gekko, however, sneaks out invisibly and distracts Cartoka long enough for Catboy to take him and Carly out. The PJs take control of their vehicle and drive back to HQ. Once the destroyed Cat-Car, Owl-Glider, and Gekko-Mobile are gathered together, PJ Robot hooks them and the Flashcar up to a machine that will transfer the parts' power into the vehicles to restore them. Unfortunately, just as it starts working, the PJ Riders suddenly reappear again and disconnect the vehicles and attack the Gigantogarage in a fit of rage before retreating inside HQ, feeling upset over the PJ Masks betraying them. Their actions result in the machine malfunctioning and transferring the all power from HQ into the vehicle. The Speedy Twins, having eventually caught up and witnessed what has happened, retrieve the vehicle and test out its new powers, wrecking the city in the process. With the vehicles still destroyed and the PJ Riders angry at them for their betrayal, the PJs are forced to stop the Gigantogarage themselves, but to no avail. It proves to be too dangerous, and they are easily outmatched. Meanwhile, PJ Robot confronts the Riders and shows them the ensuing chaos on the PJ Picture Player. Realizing what they've done, the remorseful Riders return to the heroes and sacrifice their own PJ power to restore the vehicles. Touched by this noble deed, the PJs comfort the animals and promise to make it up to them once they deal with the twins. Finally back in commission, the PJs successfully take down the Speedy Twins with their restored vehicles, each equipped with a new feature. PJ Robot reconnects the machine to the now-broken down Gigantogarage and drains its power to revitalize the PJ Riders. The Speedy Twins leave defeated, declaring it's not over. Although happy to have their vehicles back, the PJ Masks express their gratitude to their spirit animals for their selfless act and reaffirm that they love them and that nothing can ever replace them. The episode concludes with everyone proclaiming the signature victory phrase as they go for a family drive together. Moral/Lesson
