Synopsis
The episode begins outside the school as Connor, Amaya and Greg are walking by when they stumble upon a hole where one of the streetlights used to be. They look around the town, and they see that various objects have disappeared. That night, the PJ Masks look through the PJ Picture Player and see gunk clouds covering the night sky. In addition, multiple flying robots known as Fly Bots are roaming quickly around the town and collecting more objects, which indicates the villain behind this trouble: Romeo.
The PJ Masks take off in the Owl-Glider and notice a tall structure in the middle of the sky. The team lands in the middle of the forest and follows the Fly Bots to the foot of the structure, where they are depositing the stolen objects for an unknown source to pick them up. The heroes confront the group, but Romeo suddenly arrives and orders the Fly Bots to attack. The robots chase them around, firing laser beams, and to the PJ Masks’ surprise, they are really quick and adept. The heroes retreat, and Romeo goes back in the structure while the Fly Bots resume guard duty.
The PJ Masks return to HQ, overwhelmed about what just happened. Owlette brings up an aspect about the Fly Bots: they look just like PJ Robot back when Romeo first created him. That being said, if they make him look exactly like the mini-bots, he can go in as a spy and see what is going on in the sky. Gekko suggests just using his Super Gekko Camouflage to get in, but Owlette counters it by saying that he could get caught because the Fly Bots are everywhere, while PJ Robot is perfect for the plan. Catboy is wary of this, but since PJ Robot is a PJ Mask, she assures he will be safe and paints him to look exactly like a Fly Bot. She then instructs him to blend in and get as much information as he can before reporting back.
The PJ Masks return to the structure and distract Romeo, Robot, and the Fly Bots while PJ Robot sneaks in from behind. Once he gets into position, the team leaves, and he follows the villain group inside. The group travels up into another huge structure, filled with computers and lots of machinery. PJ Robot follows the Fly Bots to blend in, but Romeo stops them, assuming something suspicious about the group. He has them play a game of Romeo Says, and when PJ Robot messes up the third command, his suspicion is proven correct and has his Fly Bots lock him in the vault. He then contacts the PJ Masks for a brief moment explaining what happened. As with his Fly Bots, he intends to use PJ Robot to do all the work in his factory while he plans on taking over the world.
Owlette is distraught; she wanted to beat the Fly Bots so bad that she ignored PJ Robot’s worries about going inside the structure. Determined to fix this, she goes up to save PJ Robot while Catboy and Gekko distract the Fly Bots. Owlette flies up to where PJ Robot is, and as the structure takes off, the clouds covering it reveals what Romeo has been working on with the various objects around town: a Flying Factory. Owlette sneaks inside and arrives at the vault where PJ Robot is in. PJ Robot is freed, but the Fly Bots trap the two in a force field as they try to escape.
Fortunately, Catboy and Gekko arrive and take care of the mini-bots. Gekko uses his Super Gekko Muscles to free Owlette and PJ Robot of the force field, and the group makes their escape in the Owl-Glider. Despite Romeo’s escape, Owlette states that they saved PJ Robot. She apologizes to him, thanks Catboy and Gekko for their help, and Catboy assures that they will stop the factory next time.
Moral/Lesson
- You should value the people you love and care about above anything else.
Trivia
- This is the fifteenth episode to focus on the villains.
- This is the first time both Romeo's Flying Factory and the Fly Bots are seen.
- Romeo narrates an episode title for the third time.
- This is the second time clouds are seen.
- The episodes "Glowy Moths" and "Take Romeo Off The Road" might have foreshadowed this episode because Romeo mentioned being "Villain of the Sky" several times and expressed his desire to rule the skies at the ends of the episodes.
Errors
- In one scene, PJ Robot's face is pink instead of blue. The producers may had accidentally made his face pink since they thought he was a typical Fly Bot.
