SynopsisThe episode starts off at night with the Wolfies at the playground. After earlier attempts to become full Wolfy have failed, Howler comes up with a new plan. He goes on the merry-go-round and spins around as fast as he can. Rip and Kevin, although doubting that his plan would work, join him, though the speed of the ride is too fast for them to hold on. Howler is thrown over the fence, while Rip and Kevin are thrown at it. The two are about to reprimand him, but there is a light purplish glow. Out comes a dog, and they believe that Howler turned full Wolfy. He runs away before they could ask how he did it, though. The next day, the kids are playing a soccer game in the sports area. Connor attempts to score a goal when the dog from last night, whose name is revealed to be Ruffles, shows up to play with the soccer ball and licks Connor’s face. Halftime is called as Amaya and Greg walk over. Giving the dog loving comments as a not impressed Connor looks on, the two use the time to play with him for a bit, such as playing fetch with the soccer ball. The ball is kicked into the trees, and Ruffles runs after it, but he does not come out. Connor, Amaya, and Greg try to look for Ruffles, but all they could find are Wolfy prints. That night, the PJ Masks look at the PJ Picture Player and see that the Wolfies have taken him. Wondering what they are planning to do with him, the team drives into town in the Cat-Car. Meanwhile, Rip and Kevin follow Ruffles around, still believing him to be Howler. They ask him how he was able to turn full Wolfy, to which Ruffles does various actions. Rip and Kevin follow what he does, thinking those are steps to become full Wolfy. Nothing has changed, though. The PJ Masks soon arrive where the group is. While Owlette and Gekko distract Rip and Kevin, Catboy runs around from behind and calls for Ruffles. He walks over to retrieve him when he just stands there, but Rip and Kevin notice him. Catboy quickly tries to vortex them before they use their sonic howl on him, only for Ruffles to run up to him and trip him in the process. With Catboy down, Rip and Kevin howl at some trash towards the PJ Masks. Owlette and Gekko are able to escape, though, while Catboy gets trashed. Rip and Kevin take Ruffles somewhere else for another attempt to go full Wolfy. When the PJ Masks hear the Wolfies call Ruffles Howler, they believe that he is mistaken for Howler himself. If they can find him, they can trade him for Ruffles. That being said, the PJ Masks get back in the Cat-Car and track him down using Catboy’s Cat Ears. Mean, high-pitched laughter is picked up, and it leads them to Luna Girl, who captured Howler as the moths’ pet replacement. The PJ Masks attempt to rescue Howler, but Luna Girl throws him at them to throw them off. She then takes him to the park, where Rip, Kevin, and Ruffles are located. After Kevin fetches a stick just like Ruffles did, with the belief that it will make them go full Wolfy, they notice Howler roll up behind them and realize that he has not turned full Wolfy at all. Soon, Rip and Kevin are captured by Luna Girl. She is about to capture Ruffles as well, until the PJ Masks catch up and Owlette blows her away, blowing her Luna Magnet out of her hands in the process. Noticing the team advancing towards it, Luna Girl pushes the Wolfies with her Luna Board to roll them around the park. As Owlette and Gekko avoid being crushed by the bubbles, Catboy runs for the Luna Magnet, though he trips when Ruffles drops a stick in front of him. Luna Girl soon retrieves her magnet and captures Owlette and Gekko as well. Everything settles down as everyone rolls towards her. The villainess thinks about capturing Catboy for a moment, but decides not to, and takes everyone off to play with them. Taking cover behind the bushes, Catboy thinks about how to save everyone when Ruffles drops a stick in front of him. He rolls his eyes when this indicates playing fetch, until he realizes it could be the perfect plan for this situation. Keeping a safe distance behind Luna Girl, Catboy throws the stick while he speeds around the park to get her attention in the front. Ruffles catches the stick, and as Luna Girl starts zapping to stop Catboy, he barks at her. She falls off her Luna Board in surprise, and Ruffles fetches the Luna Magnet as it falls out of her hands. Catboy pets Ruffles as he licks him and realizes that dogs are not so bad after all. He frees everyone out of their bubble shields, and the Wolfies run off after howling Luna Girl as high and as far as they can, leaving the PJ Masks to shout out their signature victory phrase. The next day, Amaya and Greg arrive at the sports area to see Connor happily playing with Ruffles. All three kids agreeing that a dog can be anyone’s best friend, Connor throws his frisbee for Ruffles to catch. Moral/Lesson
