Synopsis
The episode begins in the new dinosaur exhibit; Greg is excited for it to open and shares with Connor and Amaya, who only know about the T-Rex, facts about lesser-known dinosaurs such as the Ankylosaurus or Quetzalcoatlus. However, a woman informs them that the exhibit is closing because someone stole the dinosaur bones; the only clues left behind are paw prints.
That night, the PJ Picture Player shows Howler and Rip having a bone contest to see who can either steal the most bones or the biggest bone while Kevin plays with a stick. After quarreling over one of the big bones, the Wolfies head over to the museum to steal some more. The PJ Masks fly over to the building just as Rip enters there and Howler grabs the T-Rex display.
As Catboy confronts Howler, Owlette shapes a cloud into a bone. She blows it so he can chase it, and he falls into the canals. Meanwhile, Gekko confronts Rip, who is trying to steal the Pteranodon model. He attempts to grab it from her, but it swings around and crashes into the T-Rex display Catboy is pulling back inside, dismantling both displays. Rip crashes into Kevin, though they quickly recover, and Gekko, who has landed on a plant, seals the entrance with his Super Gekko Muscles before the Wolfies can enter.
Catboy and Owlette attempt to put the models back together, despite Gekko telling them where each piece should go. The result is a model combination of the T-Rex and Pteranodon. Just as Gekko can express his disbelief, he notices that the doors banging from the Wolfies have stopped. As the team searches where they are, they don’t notice them sneaking in from another entrance until the model activates when Howler steps on the remote control that has also dropped.
Apart from the wings, the Wolfies believe the model to look like a prehistoric wolf. Ignoring Gekko, they claim it as their new pet and name it Wolf-O-Saurus. They stop Catboy from advancing towards them with its tail, then blow the team out of the museum with their sonic howl. After Howler and Rip fight over the controls, they fly out with the model. The team recovers and goes after them in the Owl-Glider, only for them to be taken down from their howling.
Gekko soon gets an idea that involves the facts about lesser-known dinosaurs. In HQ, with the help of the team, he attaches some additional features to the vehicles. Later, using the Pteranodon model’s head, Owlette startles Howler and Kevin off Wolf-O-Saurus and onto the buildings.
Once Rip returns to the museum, Catboy and Gekko face off against her in the Gekko-Mobile. Gekko uses the trash can lids for protection like the Stegosaurus’s armor plates against the sonic howl, then pins Wolf-O-Saurus down when they both charge towards each other using the huge boulder tied to his vehicle’s tail like the Ankylosaurus’s club tail for defense. The model shuts down, and the Wolfies are chased away, leaving the team to properly put the models back together.
The next day, Greg shares the lesser-known dinosaur facts again to Connor and Amaya, who now have a newfound interest in them.
